Munakata Sanix Blues, formerly Fukuoka Sanix Blues and Fukuoka Sanix Bombs, is a Japanese rugby union team based in Munakata, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Founded in April 1994, the team rose rapidly through the Kyūshū leagues and was in the Top League for the first season (2003-4) as Kyūshū's sole representative, but lost a relegation battle with Kintetsu Liners 42-45 and was demoted. But Sanix managed to return to the Top League for the 2005-6 season, beating Secom Rugguts and Toyota Jido Shokki in the Top League Challenge Series 2005.

Flame Vein is the first studio album by Bump of Chicken, released on March 18, 1999. One track, "Arue", was later released as a limited print single. DOES is a three-piece Japanese rock band. DOES was formed in 2000 in the Fukuoka prefecture, where they continued to write songs and perform gigs until 2005. In 2005, some members left and the group went on hiatus. Releasing songs since 2004, DOES signed with Ki/oon Records in 2006. In 2008, their 6th single “Donten” reached 3rd on the Oricon weekly music ranking charts. It was also the 5th opening for the anime Gintama.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon, is a 2007 Japanese crime film directed by Takashi Miike, based on the 2005 PlayStation 2 video game Yakuza. The film stars Kazuki Kitamura, Goro Kishitani, Show Aikawa, Yoshiyoshi Arakawa, Kenichi Endō and Tomorowo Taguchi.

He died on March 30, 2014, of stomach cancer at the age of 69.

Junji Ito Collection is a horror anime anthology series adapted from the works of manga artist Junji Ito. Animated by Studio Deen, the anime adapts stories from several of Ito's collections. The series premiered on January 5, 2018, and ran for 12 episodes, accompanied by the release of two OVAs. The series was co-produced by Crunchyroll and began broadcasting on that service worldwide outside of Asia in eight languages on the same day.
