Tirumalagiri, previously spelt Trimulgherry, is a locality and a Mandal in the city of Secunderabad which falls under Secunderabad Revenue Division, and is a major suburb of Secunderabad, India. The name is an anglicization of Tirumalagiri. It is in the north of Hyderabad District. Trimulgherry used to be base for Britishers in colonial era and many britisher lived here even after the independence . Mainly many churches were built around this area for the British . Few notable ones are Holy Family Church, Wesley Garrison Church, All saints Churches . Theses churches are of old era. A milatary Hospital was built for the britishers , it now serves the indian armed forces now . Trimulgherry also has very famous Surya Bhagwan Temple , one of the few dedicated to Sun God where there is a small pond .

The suburb has many smaller residential townships. Adjacent suburbs like Karkhana and AOC centre are often considered part of Trimulgherry. In the past 15 years, this suburb has become an important residential area in the twin cities. Many colonies, townships, and apartments came up in this suburb. Trimulgherry also has football ground where numerous players represented erstwhile Andhra Pradesh . Few went on to represent India. Many of these players played for Army , South Central Railways, SBI, SBH, AG Office etc .

Closeby, a small lake known as the Hasmathpet lake supplies fresh fish to the city.

Historically, Secunderabad constituted a combination of three villages namely, Tirumalagiri, Bowenpally and Marredpally. It has some historic buildings built during the British era like an old British Jail and a Medical college. Sir Ronald Ross who discovered cure for Malaria worked not far from this place at Sir Ronald Ross Institute of Parasitology. Originally This is base for British Army , as many buildings were constructed by British eg British Jail, Milatary Hospital , You could also see surrounding this area there are lot of tamil speaking people who have settled at Trimulgherry, Lal Bazaar, Old Diary Farm, Kantha Basti, 108 Bazaar etc. These people were brought by British from tamil nadu and settled here hundreds of years back . These people used to work in British army, Military Hospital, and in the houses of Britishers as domestic servants .

The old village of Bowenpally with its people-friendly streets still exist. One among the few old structures left is an old shrine with some rough sculptures of a bull with distinct Kakatiyan design, near the Bowenpally Police Station. Bagh Lingampally is a commercial and residential neighbourhood of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It has become one of the many major centres of Hyderabad. Lingampalli.It was earlier known as Lingampalli Bagh, which contained a royal palace with a compound of 55 acres, with 130 acres around it. Lingampalli Bagh was given as a wedding present by the 5th Nizam, Nawab Afzal-ud-Dowla Bahadur when his daughter Shehzadi Haseen unnisa married Nawab Khursheed Jah Bahadur, H.E. Paigah Amir Nawab Sir Khursheed Jah Bahadur, the second greatest Paigah nobleman of Hyderabad Deccan. Telugu Christians or Telugu Kraistava are a religious community who form the third-largest religious minority in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Monda Market is a vegetable market located at Secunderabad. It is said to have been established in 1870s to cater to resident British army units. The market is located approximately at 500 m (0.31 mi) from Secunderabad Railway Station.

ECIL X Roads or ECIL Cross Roads is a major commercial center in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is an important intersection located between some of the densest residential areas in Secunderabad, including Kushaiguda and Moula Ali. The suburb is named after ECIL Factory located nearby on the road to Cherlapally. A TSRTC Bus Terminal is located beside the crossroads.
