Metenolone

Metenolone, or methenolone, is an androgen and anabolic steroid (AAS) which is used in the form of esters such as metenolone acetate and metenolone enanthate. Metenolone esters are used mainly in the treatment of anemia due to bone marrow failure. Metenolone acetate is taken by mouth, while metenolone enanthate is given by injection into muscle.

Methylprednisolone Corticosteroid medication

Methylprednisolone, sold under the brand name Medrol among others, is a corticosteroid medication used to suppress the immune system and decrease inflammation. Conditions in which it is used include skin diseases, rheumatic disorders, allergies, asthma, croup, COPD, certain cancers, multiple sclerosis, and as add-on therapy for tuberculosis or radiculopathy It is given by mouth, by injection into a vein, muscle, or joint, or applied to the skin.

Methylprednisolone acetate

Methylprednisolone acetate, sold under the brand names Depo-Medrol among others, is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid and a corticosteroid ester—specifically the C21 acetate ester of methylprednisolone—which is used in clinical and veterinary medicine. It has been formulated as an aqueous suspension for intramuscular, intra-articular, soft tissue, and intralesional injection alone and in combination with lidocaine, a local anesthetic. Methylprednisolone acetate was previously suspended with polyethylene glycol but is no longer formulated with this excipient due to concerns about possible toxicity. Depot methylprednisolone acetate is a depot injection and is absorbed slowly with a duration of weeks to months with a single intramuscular injection.

Prednisolone acetate

Prednisolone acetate is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid and a corticosteroid ester. It is the 21-acetate ester of prednisolone.

Cortisone acetate

Cortisone acetate is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid and corticosteroid ester which is marketed in many countries throughout the world, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, and various other European countries. It is the C21 acetate ester of cortisone, and acts as a prodrug of cortisone in the body.

Fluorometholone acetate

Fluorometholone acetate, also known as oxylone acetate and sold under the brand names Flarex, Florate, and Omnitrol, is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid and a corticosteroid ester, as well as a progestogen and progestogen ester. It is the C17α acetate ester of fluorometholone.

Fluperolone

Fluperolone is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid which was never marketed. An acetate ester of fluperolone, fluperolone acetate, in contrast, has been marketed.

Fluprednidene

Fluprednidene, also known as fluprednylidene, is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid which was never marketed. An acetate ester of fluprednidene, fluprednidene acetate, in contrast, has been marketed.

Methylprednisolone aceponate

Methylprednisolone aceponate, or methylprednisolone acetate propionate, sold under the brand names Advantan and Avancort, is a glucocorticoid and a corticosteroid ester—specifically the C17α propionate and C21 acetate diester of methylprednisolone.

Methylprednisolone suleptanate

Methylprednisolone suleptanate, sold under the brand names Medrosol and Promedrol, is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid and a corticosteroid ester—specifically, the C21 suleptanate 21-(8- -1,8-dioxooctanoate) ester of methylprednisolone. It acts as a prodrug of methylprednisolone. Methylprednisolone suleptanate was developed as an improved alternative to methylprednisolone acetate (Depo-Medrol) with greater water solubility for use by intravenous administration.

Paramethasone acetate

Paramethasone acetate is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid and a corticosteroid ester. It is the acetate ester of paramethasone.

Chloroprednisone

Chloroprednisone is a topical glucocorticoid first reported in 1960. It is a chlorinated derivative of prednisone. The acetate ester prodrug, chloroprednisone 21-acetate, was sold under the brand name Topilan as an anti-inflammatory agent.

21-Hydroxypregnenolone

21-Hydroxypregnenolone, also known as prebediolone, as well as 3β,21-dihydroxypregn-5-en-20-one, is a naturally occurring and endogenous pregnane steroid, and an intermediate in the biosynthesis of 11-deoxycorticosterone (21-hydroxyprogesterone), corticosterone (11β,21-dihydroxyprogesterone), and other corticosteroids. It is formed from pregnenolone in the adrenal glands.

Androstenediol 17β-acetate

Androstenediol 17β-acetate, or 5-androstenediol 17β-acetate, also known as androst-5-ene-3β,17β-diol 17β-acetate, is a synthetic anabolic-androgenic steroid and an androgen ester – specifically, the C17β acetate ester of 5-androstenediol (androst-5-ene-3β,17β-diol) – which was never marketed.
