Fluclorolone is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid which was never marketed. [1] [2] The acetonide cyclic ketal of fluclorolone, fluclorolone acetonide, in contrast, has been marketed. [1] [2]
Triamcinolone is a glucocorticoid used to treat certain skin diseases, allergies, and rheumatic disorders among others. It is also used to prevent worsening of asthma and COPD. It can be taken in various ways including by mouth, injection into a muscle, and inhalation.
Triamcinolone acetonide, sold under the brand name Kenalog among others, is a synthetic corticosteroid medication used topically to treat various skin conditions, to relieve the discomfort of mouth sores, and by injection into joints to treat various joint conditions. It is also injected into lesions to treat inflammation in some parts of the body, particularly the skin. In nasal spray form, it is used to treat allergic rhinitis. It is used for the treatment of macular edema associated with uveitis. It is a more potent derivative of triamcinolone, and is about eight times as potent as prednisone.
Triamcinolone hexacetonide is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid.
Fluocinolone is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid which was never marketed. The acetonide cyclic ketal of fluocinolone, fluocinolone acetonide, in contrast, has been marketed.
Fluprednidene, also known as fluprednylidene, is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid which was never marketed. An acetate ester of fluprednidene, fluprednidene acetate, in contrast, has been marketed.
Triamcinolone furetonide is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid which was never marketed.
Triamcinolone benetonide is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid.
Algestone acetonide, also known as algestone 16α,17α-acetonide or 16α,17α-isopropylidenedioxyprogesterone, is a progestin which was never marketed. It is the acetonide cyclic ketal of algestone. Another progestin, algestone acetophenide, in contrast, has been marketed.
Diflorasone is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid which was never marketed. A diacetate ester of diflorasone, diflorasone diacetate, in contrast, has been marketed.
Ciprocinonide, also known as fluocinolone acetonide cyclopropylcarboxylate, is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid which was never marketed.
Descinolone acetonide, also known as desoxytriamcinolone acetonide, is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid which was never marketed.
Procinonide is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid which was never marketed.
Flupamesone, also known as triamcinolone acetonide metembonate, is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid which is marketed in Spain. It is a dimer of a C21 ester of triamcinolone acetonide.
In organic chemistry, acroleinide is a functional group which is composed of a cyclic ketal of a diol with acrolein. In pharmaceutical chemistry, it is present in acrocinonide.
In organic chemistry, pentanonide is a functional group which is composed of a cyclic ketal of a diol with 3-pentanone. It is seen in amcinafal.
In organic chemistry, cyclopentanonide is a functional group which is composed of a cyclic ketal of a diol with cyclopentanone. It is seen in amcinonide.
In organic chemistry, aminobenzal is a functional group which is composed of a cyclic ketal of a diol with 4-dimethylaminobenzylidene. It is seen in triamcinolone aminobenzal benzamidoisobutyrate.
