The United Soccer Association was a professional soccer league featuring teams based in the United States and Canada. The league survived only one season before merging with the National Professional Soccer League to form the North American Soccer League. Every team in the league was actually an imported European or South America club, that was then outfitted with a "local" name. Dick Walsh served as the commissioner.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Challenge Cup, known as the Johnson Insurance Challenge Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the premier senior men's soccer league in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The competition is held annually from May until September and is governed and organized by the Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association. It is a tier 5 league in the Canadian soccer pyramid, and as a result the winning club qualifies to compete for the Challenge Trophy as the representative for Newfoundland and Labrador in October of each year. The St. Lawrence Laurentians and Holy Cross have traditionally dominated the competition, having won a combined total of 46 Cups out of the 54 times that it has been contested.
The 1967 Washington Whips season was the club's first season of existence, participating in the United Soccer Association (USA), which, at the time, was the top division of American soccer. The Whips were an imported team of Aberdeen F.C. of Scotland. They won the USA's Eastern Division and played the Los Angeles Wolves for the title. A coin toss placed the game in Los Angeles, where the Whips, after playing with 10 players for the last 30 minutes, lost on an own goal scored in extra time by Ally Shewan.
The 2014 National Premier Soccer League season was the 102nd season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States, and the 12th season of the NPSL. The season began in May 2014. RVA Football Club were the defending champions, having won their first NPSL title the previous season.
The 2015 season is the 118th season of competitive football in Sweden. The competitive started with the group stage of Svenska Cupen on 21 February. League competition started in early April with Allsvenskan on 5 April, Superettan on 5 April and Division 1 on 12 April. Svenska Cupen concluded with the final on 17 May. Allsvenskan will conclude on 31 October, Superettan and Division 1 on 1 November and lower men's leagues on the weekend before. Qualification play-offs were held after the end of league play with the Allsvenskan and Superettan play-offs being held on 4/5 and 7/8 November. Svenska Supercupen was held on 8 November and will be contested by the winner of Allsvenskan and Svenska Cupen. Sweden participated in qualifying for the UEFA Euro 2016.
The 2015–16 Liga Bolasepak Rakyat is the 1st season of the Liga Bolasepak Rakyat since its establishment in 2015. The league is currently the fourth level football league in Malaysia. There are 111 clubs participating in this season. Labuan club which geographically located near Sabah was a club under the jurisdiction of Federal Territory hence was allowed to play this season with other Kuala Lumpur base club in Middle Zone 2 and will be put to Borneo Zone 1 next season.

The 2016 Icelandic Men's Football League Cup was the 21st season of the Icelandic Men's League Cup, a pre-season professional football competition in Iceland. The tournament started on 12 February and was conclude on 21 April. KR won the league cup after defeating Víkingur R. in the final 2–0.

The 2021–22 Thai League 3 is the 5th season of the Thai League 3, the third-tier professional league for association football clubs in Thailand, since its establishment in 2017, also known as Blue Dragon League due to the sponsorship deal with Blue Dragon Lottery Online. A total of 75 teams would be divided into 6 regions including 12 teams in the Northern region, 13 teams in the Northeastern region, 12 teams in the Eastern region, 11 teams in the Western region, 13 teams in the Southern region, and 14 teams in the Bangkok metropolitan region.
