The 1981 Mid Glamorgan County Council election was held in May 1981 and were the third elections to Mid Glamorgan County Council, electing 85 councillors. [1] They were preceded by the 1977 elections and followed by the 1985 elections.
Labour comfortably held both seats. Plaid Cymru, who held a seat in the ward from 1973 to 1977, did not field a candidate.

Park is a community and electoral ward of the county borough of Merthyr Tydfil, in Wales.
The first election to the Bridgend County Borough Council was held on 4 May 1995. It was followed by the 1999 election. On the same day there were elections to the other 21 local authorities in Wales and community councils in Wales.
The second election to Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council following the re-organization of local government in Wales was held on 6 May 1999. It was preceded by the 1995 election and followed by the 2004 election. On the same day the first elections to the Welsh Assembly were held as well as elections to the other 21 local authorities in Wales.
The 1995 Cardiff Council election was the first election to the new unitary County Council of the City and County of Cardiff following the re-organization of local government in Wales. It was held on Thursday 4 May 1995. It was followed by the 1999 elections. On the same day there were elections to the other 21 local authorities in Wales and community councils in Wales. Labour won a majority of the seats. It was preceded in Cardiff by the 1991 elections to Cardiff City Council and the 1993 elections to South Glamorgan County Council.

Canton is the name of an electoral ward in the west of the city of Cardiff, Wales, which covers its namesake community, Canton. The ward elects three county councillors to the County Council of the City and County of Cardiff.
The 1977 Mid Glamorgan County Council election was held in May 1977 and were the second elections to Mid Glamorgan County Council, electing 85 councillors. It was preceded by the 1973 election and followed by the 1981 election.
Mid Glamorgan County Council was the upper-tier authority for the Welsh county of Mid Glamorgan between its creation in 1974 and its abolition in 1996.
