The 1986 FIA European Formula Three Cup was the second European Formula Three Cup race and the first to be held at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari on October 26, 1986. The race was won by Italian Stefano Modena, driving for Euroteam outfit, who finished ahead of the previous years winner Alex Caffi and fellow Italian Nicola Larini.

The Circuit Paul Ricard is a French motorsport race track built in 1969 at Le Castellet, Var, near Marseille, with finance from pastis magnate Paul Ricard. Ricard wanted to experience the challenge of building a racetrack. The circuit has hosted the FIA Formula One French Grand Prix intermittently from 1971 to 2022.
The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, better known as Imola, is a 4.909 km (3.050 mi) motor racing circuit in the town of Imola, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, 40 km (25 mi) east of Bologna. It is one of the few major international circuits to run in an anti-clockwise direction. The circuit is named after Ferrari's late founder, Enzo Ferrari (1898–1988), and his son, Alfredo "Dino" Ferrari (1932–1956). Before Enzo's death, it was called Autodromo Dino Ferrari. The circuit has an FIA Grade One licence.
Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours is a 4.411 km (2.741 mi) motor racing circuit located in central France, near the towns of Magny-Cours and Nevers, some 250 km (160 mi) from Paris and 240 km (150 mi) from Lyon.
The Monza Circuit is a 5.793 km (3.600 mi) race track near the city of Monza, north of Milan, in Italy. The 2014 FIA Formula 3 European Championship was a multi-event motor racing championship for single-seat open wheel formula racing cars that held across Europe. The championship featured drivers competing in two-litre Formula Three racing cars built by Italian constructor Dallara which conformed to the technical regulations, or formula, for the championship. It was the third edition of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. Raffaele Marciello was the reigning drivers' champion, but he did not defend his title as he stepped up to the GP2 Series. His team, Prema Powerteam represented in the Teams' championship by Esteban Ocon and Antonio Fuoco, defended their Teams' title.

The 1985 European Formula Three Cup was the inaugural European Formula Three Cup race held at the Paul Ricard Circuit on October 27, 1985. It was won by Italian Alex Caffi in dominant fashion having achieved pole position, fastest lap and the race win, driving for Team Gulf Coloni, who finished ahead of Swede Thomas Danielsson and German Volker Weidler.
The 1987 FIA European Formula Three Cup was the third European Formula Three Cup race and the first to be held at the Silverstone Circuit on October 4, 1987. The race was won by Briton Steve Kempton, driving for Reynard R&D outfit, who finished ahead of Italian Alberto Apicella and Belgian Bertrand Gachot.
The 1989 FIA European Formula Three Cup was the fifth European Formula Three Cup race and the first to be held at the Misano World Circuit on October 15, 1989. The race was won by Italian Gianni Morbidelli, driving for Forti Corse outfit, who finished ahead of fellow Italians Antonio Tamburini and Giovanni Bonanno.
The 1990 FIA European Formula Three Cup was the sixth European Formula Three Cup race and the first to be held at the Bugatti Circuit at Le Mans on September 23, 1990. The race was won by Italian Alessandro Zanardi, driving for RC Motorsport outfit after Michael Schumacher was disqualified from the race and stripped of his race win. Italian Mirko Savoldi and Frenchman Yvan Muller completed the podium. Only eleven drivers entered the race. It was the last season of the FIA European Formula 3 Cup, before it reappeared in 1999.
The 2019 Formula Regional European Championship was a multi-event, Formula 3 open-wheel single seater motor racing championship held across Europe. The championship features a mix of professional and amateur drivers, competing in Formula 3 cars that conform to the FIA Formula 3 regulations for the championship. In the inaugural season of the championship, Frederik Vesti was the drivers' champion.
Paul Aron is an Estonian racing driver currently racing in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Prema Racing. He previously competed in the Formula Regional European Championship for Prema in 2021 and 2022, in which he ended both series in third. Aron is part of the Mercedes Junior Team. He also won the rookie cup in the 2019 Italian F4 Championship and placed third in the regular standings.
