The 2011 Formula 3 Euro Series season was the ninth championship year of the Formula 3 Euro Series. It began on 2 April at Circuit Paul Ricard and finished on 23 October at Hockenheim after 21 races at nine meetings.
Roberto Merhi, who participated his third season in series clinched title after home win at Valencia with a round to spare, bringing first Drivers' Championship for Prema Powerteam since 2003 and first title in the Teams' Standings. Second place for the second year in row went to Signature's Marco Wittmann, who took five wins. Merhi's compatriot and teammate Daniel Juncadella scored four races victories and managed third in drivers' standing. Also Juncadella and Merhi won Nations Cup.
Best rookie of the season Nigel Melker took fourth place with four victories despite missing round Silverstone due to commitments in GP3 Series. His teammate Felix Rosenqvist finished fifth, winning penultimate race of the season at Hockenheim. Places six through eight went to Signature's drivers Laurens Vanthoor, Daniel Abt and Carlos Muñoz. Motopark's drivers Jimmy Eriksson and Kimiya Sato finished on ninth and tenth positions respectively.
Competition numbers 30 and higher are single-race entrants and are ineligible to score championship points.

The 2004 Formula 3 Euro Series season was the second championship year of Europe's premier Formula Three series. The championship consisted of ten rounds – each with two races – held at a variety of European circuits. Each weekend consisted of 1 hour and 30 minutes of free practice on Friday – in either one or two sessions – and two 30-minute qualifying sessions. This was followed by a c.110 km race on Saturday and a c.80 km race on Sunday. Each qualifying session awarded one bonus point for pole position and each race awarded points for the top eight finishers, with ten points per win.

The series consisted of ten double-header meetings beginning at Hockenheim on 16 May and ending at the same venue on 25 October. Stefano Coletti is a Monégasque professional racing driver who raced for SMP Racing in the European Le Mans Series. His sister Alexandra Coletti is an alpine skier. He is the first Monégasque driver since Louis Chiron (1931) to have won a race in Monaco.
Prema Racing is a motorsport team from Italy. It operates in the FIA Formula 2 Championship and FIA Formula 3 Championship as well as various junior championships. In 2022 the team made its FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series entries, beginning the efforts in the endurance racing. The team was founded in 1983 and is located in Grisignano di Zocco, in the Veneto region. Prema has been a talent pool for several Formula 1 junior programs, from Toyota and Renault in the early days to Alpine, Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes, Red Bull, and Williams in recent years. For 2023, the team will enter nine championships, fielding a total of 28 drivers.

Tom Aston Dillmann is a French racing driver who is set to compete in the 2024 European Le Mans Series for Inter Europol Competition and in the 2024 IMSA SportsCar Championship for Inter Europol by PR1/Mathiasen Motorsport. He previously drove for the Vanwall Racing Team. He is well known for winning the German Formula Three Championship in the 2010 season and the Formula V8 3.5 Championship in the 2016 3.5 season.

It began on 10 April at Circuit Paul Ricard and finished on 17 October at Hockenheim after eighteen races at nine meetings. Grids for the 2010 season were substantially down on the previous season; with a maximum of sixteen drivers taking part in any of the season's meetings, after teams Manor Motorsport, SG Formula, Carlin Motorsport, HBR Motorsport and Kolles & Heinz Union all pulled out to focus on other series.
