The 2012 Formula 3 Euro Series season was the tenth and the final season championship year of the Formula 3 Euro Series.

Drivers and teams

Competition numbers 30 and higher are single-race entrants and are ineligible to score championship points.

  1. All drivers competed in Dallara chassis; model listed.
  2. Daniel Juncadella was disqualified from the first Norisring race after collisions with Pascal Wehrlein and Raffaele Marciello. As drivers were not promoted in the race results, no driver was officially recognised as having finished in first place. [21]

Championship standings

The third race at the Norisring was red-flagged after half the race had been completed due to torrential rain. As a result, series organisers only awarded half points to each of the classified finishers eligible to score points. [22] Similarly, half-points were awarded in the second race at Zandvoort, as only five laps were completed within the allotted time limit for racing. [23]

    The 2006 Formula 3 Euro Series season was the fourth championship year of Europe’s premier Formula Three series. As in previous years, there were ten rounds – each with two races – held at a variety of European circuits. Each weekend consisted of one 60-minute practice session and one qualifying session, followed by one c.110 km race and one c.80 km race. In a revised qualifying system that used only one session, the starting order for race 2 was determined by the finishing order of race 1, with the top eight positions reversed.

Each qualifying session awarded one bonus point for pole position and each race awarded points for the top eight finishers, with ten points per win.

    The 2009 Formula 3 Euro Series season was the seventh championship year of the Formula 3 Euro Series. The series consisted of ten double-header meetings beginning at Hockenheim on 16 May and ending at the same venue on 25 October. Jules Bianchi claimed the title for ART Grand Prix, winning his eighth race of the season at Dijon-Prenois.

    The 2010 Formula 3 Euro Series season was the eighth championship year of the Formula 3 Euro Series. It began on 10 April at Circuit Paul Ricard and finished on 17 October at Hockenheim after eighteen races at nine meetings. Grids for the 2010 season were substantially down on the previous season; with a maximum of sixteen drivers taking part in any of the season's meetings, after teams Manor Motorsport, SG Formula, Carlin Motorsport, HBR Motorsport and Kolles & Heinz Union all pulled out to focus on other series.

    The FIA Formula 3 International Trophy was a FIA-sanctioned international formula series that ran in 2011 for Formula Three cars. The Trophy was the first international Formula Three series since the demise of the European Formula Three Championship in 1984, and was created to increase the appeal of the category, which had seen the various F3 championships suffer from falling grid sizes.

    The 2012 Macau Grand Prix Formula Three was a motor race for Formula Three cars that was held on the streets of Macau on 18 November 2012. Unlike other races, such as the Pau Grand Prix, the 2012 Macau Grand Prix was not a part of any Formula Three championship, but was open to entries from all Formula Three championships. The race itself was made up of two races: a ten-lap qualifying race that decided the starting grid for the fifteen-lap main race.     The FIA Formula 3 European Championship was a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across Europe. The championship featured drivers competing in 2-litre Formula Three Dallara single seat race cars that conform to the technical regulations for the championship. The 2013 season was the second edition of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship organized by the FIA. The season began at Autodromo Nazionale Monza on 23 March and finished on 20 October at Hockenheimring. The series formed part of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters meetings at seven triple header events, with other triple header events as part of the World Touring Car Championship, the FIA World Endurance Championship and the Superstars Series.

    The 2014 FIA Formula 3 European Championship was a multi-event motor racing championship for single-seat open wheel formula racing cars that held across Europe. The championship featured drivers competing in two-litre Formula Three racing cars built by Italian constructor Dallara which conformed to the technical regulations, or formula, for the championship. It was the third edition of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. Raffaele Marciello was the reigning drivers' champion, but he did not defend his title as he stepped up to the GP2 Series. His team, Prema Powerteam represented in the Teams' championship by Esteban Ocon and Antonio Fuoco, defended their Teams' title.

It was the fourth edition of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship.

    The 2015 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters was the twenty-ninth season of premier German touring car championship and also sixteenth season under the moniker of Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters since the series' resumption in 2000. The season started on 2 May at Hockenheim, and ended on 18 October at the same venue, with Mercedes Benz driver Pascal Wehrlein clinching the Drivers' Championship, Mercedes Benz's HWA AG winning the Teams' Championship and BMW taking the Manufacturer's Championship after a total of nine events.
