Alberto Ascari Italian racing driver

Alberto Ascari was an Italian racing driver and twice Formula One World Champion. He was a multitalented racer who competed in motorcycle racing before switching to cars. Ascari won consecutive world titles in 1952 and 1953 for Scuderia Ferrari. He was the team's first World Champion and the last Italian to date to win the title. He also participated in numerous non-Championship Formula One races.

GB3 Championship

The GB3 Championship is a single seater motorsport series based in the United Kingdom. The championship is the UK's premier single-seater category, and is aimed at young racing drivers moving up from FIA Formula 4 championships or Karting. Having previously been known since 2013 as the BRDC Formula 4 Championship, the championship was renamed the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship with the backing of the FIA in March 2016. The championship was rebranded to GB3 Championship in August 2021.

There have been nine Formula One drivers from Finland who have taken part in races since the championship began in 1950. Three drivers have won the World Drivers' Championship, with Keke Rosberg being the first in 1982. Mika Häkkinen won it in 1998 and retained it in 1999, becoming the first - and so far only - Finnish double world champion. Kimi Räikkönen is the most recent Finnish champion having won the title in 2007.

2021 GB3 Championship

The 2021 GB3 Championship, known as the 2021 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship until August 2021, is a motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across England. The 2021 season is the sixth organised by the British Racing Drivers' Club in the United Kingdom. The championship features a mix of professional motor racing teams and privately funded drivers, and also features the 2-litre 230-bhp Tatuus-Cosworth single seat race car in the main series. The season is planned to be run over eight triple- and quadruple-header rounds, it started on 22 May at Brands Hatch and will end on 17 October at Donington Park. The series was rebranded mid-season from BRDC British Formula 3 Championship.
