1978 British Formula Three season

The 1978 British Formula Three season was the 28th season of the British Formula Three racing. There was once again two major championships contested throughout the year: the British Automobile Racing Club organised BP Super Visco British Formula 3 Championship, and the British Racing Drivers' Club backed Vandervell British Formula 3 Championship. This would be the final year with multiple British championship, with the BARC and BRDC unifying for the following season.

The BARC championship was won by Brazilian driver Nelson Piquet ahead of British driver Derek Warwick, whilst in the BRDC championship, Warwick triumphed over Piquet. [1] Piquet subsequently moved up into Formula One during the same year, driving for the Brabham team in the final Formula 1 race of the season as well as two other teams earlier.

BP Super Visco British F3 Championship

The BARC championship was run over 16 rounds, held at ten different circuits across England and in Monaco and France. [2] The champion was Brazilian Nelson Piquet, ahead of BRDC series champion Derek Warwick [1]

British Grand Prix Formula One Grand Prix

The British Grand Prix is a Grand Prix motor race organised in the United Kingdom by the Royal Automobile Club. The Protyre 2010 Formula Renault BARC season was the 16th Formula Renault BARC Championship. The season began at Brands Hatch on 18 April and ended on 17 October at Thruxton, after twelve rounds held in England. Making its debut in the series was the previous-specification Formula Renault UK car which ran alongside the existing BARC car in a one-class Championship.

The 2008 Elf Renault Clio Cup United Kingdom season began at Brands Hatch on 29 March and finished after 20 races over 10 events at the same circuit on 21 September. The Championship was won by Ben Winrow driving for Team Pyro.

The 2001 British Superbike Championship season was the 13th season. The title was won by John Reynolds aboard the Reve Red Bull Ducati winning 12 of the 26 races. Reynolds' nearest challenger Steve Hislop was in title contention until he was injured in the second race at Rockingham ruled him out for the rest of the season. Changes to the qualifying structure to try and make it more of a spectacle with the introduction of the Superpole format. With the British Superbike Championship being broadcast on the BBC for this season superbikes became more popular with a rise in audience of 42%.

Scott Malvern British racing driver

Scott Aaron Malvern is a British racing driver, currently competing in the British GT Championship who is best known for winning the 2011 British Formula Ford Championship, the 2012 Formula Renault BARC championship and twice being nominated for the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award.Malvern was also awarded the British Racing Drivers Club Henry Surtees Award in 2011 and the Autosport Club Driver of the Year in 2012.

Jake Cook is a British racing driver, currently competing in the Protyre Formula Renault Championship for Hillspeed. He is the nephew of former British Touring Car Championship driver Paula Cook. He won the MSA Young Driver of the Year award for 2010, the first recipient of the award.

Bart Horsten Australian racing driver (born 2002)

Bart Horsten is an Australian-Irish racing driver. He is competing in the 2021 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship, driving for Hitech GP.

The 2000 Privilege Insurance British GT Championship was the eighth season of the British GT Championship, an auto racing series organised by the British Racing Drivers Club (BRDC) and sponsored by Privilege. The races featured grand touring cars conforming to two categories of regulations known as GT and GTO, and awarded a driver championship in each category. The season began on 25 March 2000 and ended on 8 October 2000 after eleven events, eleven held in Great Britain with one race in Belgium. The series was joined by the BRDC Marcos Mantis Challenge Cup for a few rounds.

Zak OSullivan British-Irish racing driver (born 2005)

Zak O'Sullivan is a British racing driver of Irish descent who currently competes in the FIA Formula 3 Championship for Carlin. He is the current champion of the GB3 Championship, and a member of the Williams Driver Academy.

Frederick Lubin is a British racing driver of American descent. He is set to compete in the 2022 Formula Regional Asian Championship with Evans GP and the 2022 Euroformula Open Championship with Team Motopark, having previously raced in the GB3 Championship in 2021 and the F4 British Championship in 2020.
