The 1992 USAC FF2000 Western Division Championship was the third season of the series. It was the first season since the east/west split of the series by the United States Auto Club. Greg Moore won the series championship for Team Viper in a Swift DB-6 [1] [2]

The United States Auto Club (USAC) is one of the sanctioning bodies of auto racing in the United States. From 1956 to 1979, USAC sanctioned the United States National Championship, and from 1956 to 1997 the organization sanctioned the Indianapolis 500. The 1990 USAC FF2000 Championship was the first season of the series. The series was sanctioned by the United States Auto Club and ran races in California and Arizona. Vince Puleo, Jr. won the inaugural championship in a Fast LG-1 entered by Fast Forward Racing.

The 1992 USAC FF2000 Eastern Division Championship was the first season since the east/west split of the series by the United States Auto Club. Chris Simmons won the series championship for SOTARE Racing in a Van Diemen RF92.

The 2006 Cooper Tires Formula Ford 2000 Championship Series was the sixth and final season of the USF2000 Ford Zetec championship. It proved to be the ultimate USF2000 championship until the relaunch in 2010. J.R. Hildebrand won the championship in a Cape Motorsports entered Van Diemen RF05.

Jason LaPoint is a former racing driver. LaPoint won the 2001 USF2000 championship and also competed in Star Mazda and the Atlantic Championship.

Bryan Sellers is an American racing driver. Sellers won the title in the U.S. F2000 in 2002 and later competed in the Atlantic Championship and in racing sports cars.

Scott Bradley is a former American racing driver. Bradley won the 2001 Star Mazda championship. Bradley also competed in USF2000, American Le Mans Series among other series.

Bruno Bianchi is a Canadian former racing driver. Bianchi won races in Formula Ford 1600 and Formula Ford 2000. After his racing career Bianchi was an engineer at Bombardier Inc. and Bell Helicopter.

Curtis Farley is a former racing driver and SCCA National Championship Runoffs winner.

Bob Lesnett is a former Sportscar and Formula racing driver, team owner and race engineer. With 14 championships, over 60 career wins, Lesnett's career spanned the most competitive amateur open wheel series and includes numerous professional accomplishments including winning the 24 Hours of Daytona and a driver and engineer, winning the Sebring 12 hours and SCCA National, Divisional and Regional Championships.

The 1994 USAC FF2000 National Championship was the first USF2000 national championship sanctioned by the United States Auto Club. It was the final season of USF2000 racing sanctioned by USAC. The following season would be sanctioned by SCCA Pro Racing. Clay Collier, racing with Ruyle Race Service, won the championship.

The 1995 United States Formula Ford 2000 National Championship was the first USF2000 national championship sanctioned by the SCCA Pro Racing. The championship was formed after the merger of the USAC FF2000 series and the American Continental Championship. Jeret Schroeder, racing with Schroeder Racing, won the championship.

Ernest Sikes is a former American racing driver. Sikes won the 1993 SCCA American Continental Championship, a precursor of the USF2000 series. Sikes also competed in the SCCA National Championship Runoffs.
