Sydney Motorsport Park is a motorsport circuit located on Brabham Drive, Eastern Creek, New South Wales, Australia, adjacent to the Western Sydney International Dragway. It was built and is owned by the New South Wales Government and is operated by the Australian Racing Drivers Club. The circuit is one of only two permanent tracks in Australia with an FIA Grade 2 license and is licensed for both cars and motorcycles.
Mark "Frosty" Winterbottom is an Australian professional racing driver. He currently competes in the Repco Supercars Championship, driving the No. 18 Holden ZB Commodore for Team 18. His career highlights include winning the 2013 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, twice winning the Sandown 500 and receiving the Mike Kable Young Gun Award in 2003. Winterbottom has also won his maiden championship title in the 2015 International V8 Supercars Championship, making it the first title for Ford in five years.

The 1994 Australian Manufacturers' Championship was a CAMS sanctioned motor racing competition for 2.0 Litre Touring Cars complying with FIA Class II rules. The championship, which was promoted as the 1994 Valvoline Australian Manufacturers' Championship, began on 17 April 1994 at Eastern Creek Raceway and ended on 28 August at Oran Park Raceway after six rounds. The series determined both the winning automobile manufacturer in the 22nd Australian Manufacturers' Championship and the winning driver in the second annual Australian title for drivers of Class II Touring Cars. This title was awarded as the Australian 2.0 Litre Touring Car Championship in 1993 and as the Australian Super Touring Championship from 1995.
The Bathurst 12 Hour, currently known as the Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour for sponsorship reasons, is an endurance race for GT and production cars held at the Mount Panorama Circuit, in Bathurst, Australia. It is an annual race, taking place every February. The race was first held in 1991 for Series Production cars and moved to Sydney's Eastern Creek Raceway in 1995 before being discontinued. The race was revived in 2007, again for production cars, before adding a new class for GT3 and other GT cars in 2011. This has led to unprecedented domestic and international exposure for the event. In all, eighteen races have taken place; seventeen at Mount Panorama and one at Eastern Creek Raceway.
The 1987 Bob Jane T-Marts 500 was the ninth round of the 1987 World Touring Car Championship. The race, which was open to Group A Touring Cars, was held on 11 October 1987 at Calder Park Raceway in outer Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on the rarely used combined circuit which incorporated both the recently redeveloped (1986) road course and the newly completed, high banked (24°) NASCAR-style “Thunderdome” oval.
The 2008 Australian Drivers' Championship was a CAMS sanctioned national motor racing title which was contested concurrently with the 2008 Kumho Tyres Australian Formula 3 Championship. The championship winner was awarded the 2008 CAMS Gold Star. The 2008 championship was the 52nd Australian Drivers' Championship and the fourth to be contested with open wheel racing cars constructed in accordance with FIA Formula 3 regulations. The season began on 3 February 2008 at Eastern Creek Raceway and finished on 21 September at Symmons Plains Raceway after eight rounds across four different states with two races per round.
The 1994 James Hardie 12 Hour was an endurance race for production cars held at the Mount Panorama Circuit, Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia on 3 April 1994. It was the fourth running of the "Bathurst 12 Hour". The race was open to cars of which at least ten examples had been sold and registered for use on Australian roads. Modifications in line with Group 3E Series Production Cars regulations, as published by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport, were permitted.

The 1990 Nissan Sydney 500 was motor race held on 10 November 1990 at Eastern Creek Raceway in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The race, which was open to Group 3A Touring Cars, was the final round of both the 1990 Australian Endurance Championship and the 1990 Australian Manufacturers' Championship. Held over a distance of 500 kilometers, it was the first touring car event to be held at Eastern Creek Raceway.
The 1988 Enzed Sandown 500 was an endurance race for Group 3A Touring Cars. The event was held at the Sandown International Raceway in Victoria, Australia on 11 September 1988 over 129 laps of the 3.9 km circuit, a total distance of 503 km. This was the last time that the 3.9 km International configuration of the Sandown circuit was used for Australian touring car racing. The race was the 23rd running of the "Sandown enduro".
The 2009 Australian Manufacturers' Championship was a CAMS sanctioned motor racing title for car manufacturers. It was the 24th manufacturers title to be awarded by CAMS and the 15th to be contested under the Australian Manufacturers' Championship name. The championship was open to Group 3E Series Production Cars. Mitsubishi ended the season as champions, beating other manufacturers Toyota and Subaru.
The 2009 Australian Production Car Championship was a CAMS sanctioned motor racing title for drivers of Group 3E Series Production Cars. It was the 16th Australian Production Car Championship title to be awarded by CAMS. As well as claiming the Class A2 title, Garry Holt won the overall championship in his BMW 335i. Holt held off Class A1 champion Rod Salmon by just two points in the overall standings. Other class champions were Jake Camilleri in his Mazda 3 MPS and Stuart Jones' Toyota Celica.
The 2010 Australian Manufacturers' Championship was a CAMS sanctioned national motor racing championship for car manufacturers. It was the 25th manufacturers title to be awarded by CAMS and the 16th to be contested under the Australian Manufacturers' Championship name. The championship, which was open to closed, four seat, production automobiles, also incorporated the 2010 Australian Production Car Championship for drivers. Mitsubishi Motors won their second consecutive Manufacturers' Championship, while Stuart Kostera, driving a Mitsubishi, won the Production Car Championship.
The 2010 Dial Before You Dig Australian Six Hour was an endurance motor race for production cars. It was staged on 18 July 2010 at the Eastern Creek International Raceway in New South Wales, Australia and was Round 4 of both the 2010 Australian Manufacturers' Championship and the 2010 Australian Production Car Championship. The race was won by Stuart Kostera and Warren Luff at the wheel of a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X, leading a 1–2–3–4 for the manufacturer. Kostera and Luff won by two laps ahead of Ian Tulloch and Steve Jones, with Peter Conroy and Mark Brame finishing a further lap down in third place.
The 2010 Eastern Creek 8 Hour Production Car Race was an endurance motor race for production cars. It was staged on 12 December 2010 at the Eastern Creek International Raceway in New South Wales, Australia. Jim Hunter, Barton Mawer and Gavin Bullas won the race at the wheel of a Subaru Impreza WRX STI; completing 249 laps, one more than the second place team of Barry Morcom, Nathan Morcom and Garry Holt, driving a BMW 335i. Third place went to father and son pairing Tony and Klark Quinn, who finished ten laps down from the winners, in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX.
The 2011 Eastern Creek Six Hour was an endurance motor race for production cars, held on 11 December 2011, at Eastern Creek Raceway in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was Round 5 of the 2011 Australian Manufacturers' Championship, Round 5 of the 2011 Australian Production Car Championship, Round 3 of the 2011 Australian Endurance Championship and Round 2 of the 2011 Australian Production Car Endurance Championship. The race was originally to be run over an eight-hour duration, but this was reduced to six hours shortly before the event was run.
The 1998 Century Batteries Three Hour Bathurst Showroom Showdown was an endurance motor race for GT Production Cars. The race was staged at the Mount Panorama Circuit, near Bathurst, in New South Wales, Australia on 14 November 1998 and was won by Peter Fitzgerald and Jim Richards driving a Porsche 911 RSCS.
The 1994 Australian Super Production Car Series was an Australian motor racing competition for production cars. It was the first and only series to be contested under the Australian Super Production Car Series name prior to the adoption of "Australian GT Production Car Series" for 1995 and subsequently "Australian GT Production Car Championship" for 1996.
Jacer Australia is an Australian racing car manufacturer. The company specialises in designing and constructing Formula Vee racing cars for the Australian market. Started by teenage racer Jason Cutts in Marsden Park, Sydney, the first car, called a "Cutts" debuted in October 1995 and won its first race that weekend at Eastern Creek Raceway. In 1997 Cutts won the Australian Nationals and backed it up with a second national title in 2000.
