The Czech Republic, also known as Czechia is a landlocked country in Central Europe. Czech First League Football league

The Czech First League, known as the Fortuna liga for sponsorship reasons, is a Czech professional league for football clubs. At the top of the Czech football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Seasons typically run from August to May, most games are played on Saturdays and Sundays with few games played on Fridays. All Fortuna liga clubs qualify for the Czech Cup.

Czech Republic national cricket team

The Czech national cricket team, nicknamed the Lions, is the team that represents the Czech Republic in international cricket. The team is organised by the Czech Republic Cricket Union, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2000 and an associate member in 2017. The national side did not debut until 2006, when it played a series against Austria. It made its international tournament debut in 2008, at a Twenty20 tournament in Wales, and has since participated regularly in international events, including some organised by the European Cricket Council.

The Czech National Football League, currently known as Fortuna národní liga due to sponsorship reasons, is the second level professional association football league in the Czech Republic. Before 2013 it was known as 2. liga or Druhá liga. The top two teams each season are eligible for promotion to the Czech First League.

Petra Kvitová is a Czech professional tennis player. Known for her powerful left-handed groundstrokes and variety, Kvitová turned professional in 2006 and has won 29 career singles titles, including two major titles at the Wimbledon Championships in 2011 and in 2014. She also won a bronze medal while representing the Czech Republic at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Her career-high ranking of world No. 2 was achieved on 31 October 2011. The Anděl Awards is a Czech music award ceremony organized by the Czech Academy of Popular Music. It is a successor to the Annual Czechoslovak Music Award established in 1991 in Czechoslovakia. Between 1992 and 1995, it was known as Gramy, with award categories matching the American Grammy Awards and the prize being represented by a ceramic gramophone statuette. Since 1997, it bears the current name, with the prize including a statuette of an angel with open wings playing a horn, designed by sculptor Jaroslav Róna.

Kristopher David Twardek is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a winger for Bohemians in the League of Ireland Premier Division. A former youth international for the Czech Republic, he has been capped by Canada at full international level.
