Kateřina Winterová is a Czech actress, permanent member of the National Theatre in Prague, and vocalist for the band The Ecstasy of Saint Theresa.

Přístav is a Czech television programme which was first broadcast in 2015. In Czech přístav means 'port'. The programme was written by various writers and directed by Jana Rezková (2015–2017), Jaromír Polisenský (2015–2016) and Ján Novák (2015–2016). The series was nominated as Best Television Drama at the 2015 Czech Lion Awards. Actress Vanda Hybnerová's father, Boris Hybner, appeared alongside her in one of the episodes.

<i>The Painted Bird</i> (film) 2019 black and white war drama film

The Painted Bird is a 2019 internationally co-produced black and white war drama film written, directed and produced by Václav Marhoul. An adaptation of Jerzy Kosiński's novel of the same name, it is the first film to feature the Interslavic language; Marhoul stated that he decided to use Interslavic so that no Slavic nation would nationally identify with the story.

Czech Lion Award for Best Foreign Film was awards given to the best non-Czech motion picture. It was discontinued in 2014.

Owners is a 2019 Czech comedy film directed by Jiří Havelka, which he made according to his own screenplay. The story is based on the play The Society of Owners (Condominium), which Havelka also wrote and directed, and was presented by the theater company Vosto5. The performance won the Divadelní noviny award in the category of alternative theater.

<i>Daughter</i> (2019 film) 2019 Czech film

Daughter is a 2019 Czech short animated drama film directed by Daria Kashcheeva. The film received 38 awards during half a year after its premiere at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, including the Annecy Cristal for the best film in the graduation films category, and a Student Academy Award. It was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.

2020 Czech Lion Awards ceremony will be held in March 2021. Awards underwent changes as new Categories were added. Animated film and Web works will be newly Awarded in their respective Categories. Some categories became open for Television and Web works as a result of increase in Television work quality.

2021 Czech Lion Awards ceremony was held on 5 March 2022.
