Shōgun is an American historical drama television series created by Rachel Kondo and Justin Marks. It is based on the 1975 novel by James Clavell, which was previously adapted into a 1980 miniseries. Its ensemble cast includes Hiroyuki Sanada, Cosmo Jarvis, Anna Sawai, Tadanobu Asano, Takehiro Hira, Tommy Bastow, and Fumi Nikaido. <i>3 Body Problem</i> (TV series) American sci-fi television series (2024)

3 Body Problem is an American science fiction television series created by David Benioff, D. B. Weiss and Alexander Woo and the third streaming adaptation of the Chinese novel series Remembrance of Earth's Past written by former computer engineer Liu Cixin. Its name comes from the first volume, The Three-Body Problem, of the novel series and refers to a classical physics problem dealing with Newton's laws of motion and gravitation. Previous adaptations include The Three-Body Problem in Minecraft (2014–2020) and the Chinese live-action Three-Body (2023), both of which were exclusively in Mandarin.

The Gotham TV Award for Breakthrough Nonfiction Series is one of the annual Gotham TV Awards and was first awarded in 2021. Originally given out at the main Gotham Awards, it was announced in April 2024 that the award would be presented as part of the 1st Gotham TV Awards, effectively reintroducing it as one of the Gotham TV Awards after the category had not been presented at the previous main Gotham Awards ceremony.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith is an American spy television series created by Francesca Sloane and Donald Glover, which premiered on February 2, 2024. It is inspired by the 2005 film of the same name, although instead of following a married couple of competing spies like the film, the series stars Glover and Maya Erskine as two strangers paired up as a duo of spies who must live undercover as a married couple; instead of real names, John and Jane Smith are aliases given to the characters and the other agents working for the same organization.

Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show is an American documentary series directed by Ari Katcher. It follows comedian Jerrod Carmichael as he interacts with family, friends, and strangers in his quest for love, sex, and connection. It had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 10, 2024, and premiered on HBO 19 days later.
