Busan, officially Busan Metropolitan City, is South Korea's second most populous city after Seoul, with a population of over 3.3 million inhabitants as of 2024. Formerly romanized as Pusan, it is the economic, cultural and educational center of southeastern South Korea, with its port being South Korea's busiest and the sixth-busiest in the world. The surrounding "Southeastern Maritime Industrial Region" is South Korea's largest industrial area. The large volumes of port traffic and urban population in excess of 1 million make Busan a Large-Port metropolis using the Southampton System of Port-City classification. As of 2019, Busan Port is the primary port in Korea and the world's sixth-largest container port.
Gimhae is a city in South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, situated near the Nakdong River.
Papaya (Korean: 파파야) was an all girl pop group from South Korea. They released two albums before becoming inactive.
You Are My Destiny is a South Korean television series television series that aired on KBS1 from May 5, 2008 to January 9, 2009 on Mondays to Fridays at 20:25 for 178 episodes. Starring Im Yoon-ah, Park Jae-jung, Lee Ji-hoon and Gong Hyun-joo, the rating of the drama started at more than 20% in the first episode, and kept increasing. It reached a peak viewership rating of 41.6% in its final episode and was a huge success overall in Korea and many other Asian countries.
SBS Gayo Daejeon is an annual televised music festival that is broadcast by the Seoul Broadcasting System at the end of each year. The program first aired in 1997, and awards were given to musical artists from 1997 to 2006. The awards ceremony portion of the festival was revived in 2014 and discontinued the following year.
Nam Ji-hyun, known mononymously as Jihyun, and formerly known by her stage name Son Ji-hyun, is a South Korean actress and former singer. She is best known as the former leader and a vocalist of now-disbanded South Korean girl group 4Minute.
Han Sun-hwa, also known mononymously as Sunhwa, is a South Korean actress and singer. She is a former member of the South Korean girl group Secret. She made her television debut in 2004 while participating in SBS' Superstar Survival as a finalist, and in 2009, she was a regular cast on a variety show called Invincible Youth. Aside from music, she also ventured into acting and made her debut in the 2010 drama, More Charming By The Day. She also acted in several dramas with supporting roles in Ad Genius Lee Tae-baek (2013), God's Gift: 14 Days (2014), and Marriage, Not Dating (2014).

Stray Kids is a South Korean boy band that JYP Entertainment formed through the eponymous 2017 reality television show. The band has eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. For undisclosed personal reasons, Woojin left the band in October 2019. Stray Kids primarily self-produce its recordings; the main production team is named 3Racha and consists of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, and the other members frequently participate in songwriting.
Jeong Yun-o, birth name Jeong Jae-hyun (정재현) and professionally known as Jaehyun, is a South Korean singer. He is a member of the South Korean boy band NCT and its sub-units NCT 127 and NCT DoJaeJung. He made his solo debut on August 26, 2024, with the studio album J.
Moon Tae-il, known mononymously as Taeil, is a South Korean singer. He is a former member of the South Korean boy band NCT and its sub-units NCT U and NCT 127, managed by the label SM Entertainment. Taeil made his debut in April 2016 in the rotational unit NCT U and became a member of the Seoul-based unit NCT 127 in July 2016. He departed from NCT on August 28, 2024, following allegations of sexual offenses, later revealed to be quasi-rape.
The 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards ceremony, also known as 2021 MAMA, organized by CJ E&M and broadcast through its music channel Mnet, took place live on December 11, 2021. The ceremony was held at CJ ENM Contents World in Paju, South Korea. The theme for the ceremony was titled as "Make Some Noise". The ceremony was the 23rd in the show's history, and the last to be named as the "Mnet Asian Music Awards," as the show rebranded for the following edition.
Noeasy is the second studio album by South Korean boy group Stray Kids. It was released on August 23, 2021, through JYP Entertainment, nine months after its predecessor the Japanese-language extended play (EP) All In (2020), and eleven months after the Korean reissue In Life (2020). The album's title is a wordplay on "noisy" and "no easy", and conveys the idea of the group making a loud impact on the world with their music.
Kim Woojin is a South Korean singer and actor. He is a former member of the boy group Stray Kids, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2017. After leaving the group in late 2019, Kim debuted as a soloist in 2021 with the release of his first extended play (EP) The Moment: A Minor. Kim has since released two additional EPs. Outside of music, Kim has ventured into acting, most notably with a starring role in HBO Max's Brazilian TV series Além do Guarda-Roupa(English: My Magic Closet). Originally signed to 10x Entertainment for solo activities, Kim has been under contract to Kustomade since the label's acquisition by SM Entertainment in 2024.
"Maniac" is a song recorded by the South Korean boy band Stray Kids. It was the second track released from their sixth Korean extended play (EP), Oddinary, and was its lead single on March 18, 2022, through JYP Entertainment and Republic Records. Written by Stray Kids' in-house production team 3Racha and Versachoi, "Maniac" is a trap, EDM and pop song about "odd" people who break the "ordinary" social norms set by the world, referring to Frankenstein's monster.
