The Sweden and Norway joint edition of Big Brother is a reality show shown on Kanal 5 in Sweden, and FEM in Norway, in which a number of contestants live in an isolated house trying to avoid being evicted by the public with the aim of winning a large cash prize at the end of the run. It is based on the Big Brother series produced by Endemol.

Aylar Dianati Lie is an Iranian-Norwegian actress, model, singer and former pornographic actress. She has worked as a music video actress and singer, appearing in several of Swedish musician Basshunter's music videos. She became famous after participating in the Norwegian Big Brother.

Celebrity Big Brother is a British television reality game show based on the Dutch show Big Brother, created by producer John de Mol in 1997, which aired from 2001 to 2018, and again since 2024. The show follows a number of celebrity contestants, known as housemates, who were isolated from the outside world for an extended period of time in a custom built house. Each week, one of the housemates is evicted by a public vote, with the last housemate named the winner. The series takes its name from the character in George Orwell's 1949 novel Nineteen Eighty-Four.

She was also a backing singer at the 1981 and 1983 contests, and co-wrote the 1988 Norwegian Eurovision entry "For vår jord", which placed fifth.

Thomas Løvenkrands is a Danish former professional football player. He most recently played as a winger for Danish club SønderjyskE. He is the older brother of Danish international winger Peter Løvenkrands.

Big Brother Norge was the Norwegian version of reality TV show Big Brother that was aired from 2001 to 2003 on TV Norge for four moderately successful seasons. The fifth and final season was launched in late August 2011 on TV 2 Bliss.

The Half Brother is a 2001 novel by the Norwegian writer Lars Saabye Christensen. The story follows a man who grows up in Oslo after World War II, with his mother, grandmother, great grandmother and half brother. The novel was published in Norwegian by Cappelen in 2001, and in English for the first time in 2003. It received the Brage Prize and the Nordic Council Literature Prize. A television series based on the novel was broadcast on NRK in 2013.

The Danish National Road Race Championships conists of a series of cycling races to decide the national champions for the year to come. The event was first held in 1897.

Odd Einar Nordheim is a Norwegian musician and singer. He won the music talent competition Stjerner i sikte in 1996. He has released two albums under the name "OdD", Mind Your Head in 2001 and Not All Birds Fly with Ease in 2005. He was nominated for best pop solo performer under Spellemannprisen 2001.
