The 2007 West Asian Football Federation Women's Championship was held in Amman, Jordan. It was the second West Asian Football Federation Women's Championship held. Four teams competed and Jordan, the hosts and defending champions, won the tournament. [1]

The Jordan national football team represents Jordan in international football and is controlled by the Jordan Football Association. Jordan have never qualified for the World Cup finals but have appeared four times in the Asian Cup and reached its quarter-final stage in the 2004 and 2011 editions.
The West Asian Football Federation Championship, or simply WAFF Championship, is an international association football competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF), the governing body of football in West Asia. The Amman International Stadium is a stadium in Al-Hussein City, Amman, Jordan. It was built in 1964 and opened in 1968. It is owned by the Government of Jordan and operated by the Higher Council of Youth. It is also the home stadium of the Jordan national football team and Al-Faisaly SC. It has a current capacity of 17,619 spectators.
The International Federation of American Football (IFAF) is the international governing body of American Football associations. The GCC Games is a regional multi-sport event which involves participants from the Gulf Cooperation Council region. The GCC Games, a quadrennial multi-sport event, was established by the union and first held in 2011. There are numerous long-running GCC Championships for individual sports, including: the Gulf Cooperation Council Athletics Championships football, Archery, athletics, Badminton, sailing, basketball, Swimming, Marathon Swimming, Diving, Water Polo, Artistic Swimming, tennis, gymnastics, weightlifting, futsal, snooker, Cycling, Chess and table tennis. The 3rd edition of the game had to be organized in June 2019, but held in 2022 due to the internal issues between the GCC state countries. The 4th edition has been announced and will happen as per the announced dates. For the first time the games will be organized by the new, young and talented faces of GCC team.
The 2019 West Asian Football Federation Women's Championship was the 6th edition of the WAFF Women's Championship, the international women's football championship of Western Asia organised by the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF). It was held in Bahrain from 7 January to 15 January 2019. The tournament was won by Jordan for the fourth time, and Bahrain became the first host nation to not win the WAFF Women's Championship.
2019 WAFF U-15 Championship was the seventh edition of the WAFF U-16 Championship, the international youth football championship organised by the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) for the men's under-15 national teams of West Asia. It was held in Zarqa, Jordan from 1 to 11 July 2019. The draw of the competition was held on 9 June 2019.
Diya Women Football Club, also referred to as Diya W.F.C., Diya WFC, Diya FC, Diya, Diya Women FC, or DWFC, is a Pakistani women's association football and futsal club based in Karachi. Diya means lamp in Urdu. It is the country's oldest women's football club, established in 2002. Diya W.F.C. has no affiliation to any men's club.
