Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was an Emirati politician and member of the Al Nahyan family who previously served as the 3rd Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.

Khalifa bin Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan was the eldest son of Abu Dhabi ruler Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan. He was brother of four Abu Dhabi rulers, Tahnoun, Hamdan, Saqr and Sultan. Khalifa refused to ascend the throne when his father died in 1909, because his mother begged him to refuse, as she was sure he would be killed. He reportedly built Al-Muwaiji Fort in what is now the city of Al Ain during the early 20th century, during the reign of his father.
Qasr Al Muwaiji, or "Muwaiji Fort", is a fort in the central part of Al Ain in the Eastern Region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. It is noted as the birthplace of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the former Ruler of Abu Dhabi and President of the U.A.E. (2004–2022), and where his father and predecessor, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, was based during his tenure as the Ruler's Representative of the Eastern Region of the Emirate.
