The FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2009 was the 20th staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament was held in Jakarta, Indonesia between May 12, 2009 and May 20.

FIBA Basketball World Cup International basketball tournament

The FIBA Basketball World Cup, also known as the FIBA World Cup of Basketball or simply the FIBA World Cup, between 1950 and 2010 known as the FIBA World Championship, is an international basketball competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the sport's global governing body. FIBA Oceania is a zone within FIBA. It is one of FIBA's five continental confederations. FIBA Oceania is responsible for the organization and governance of the major international tournaments in Oceania. It has 22 FIBA Federations and is headquartered in Southport, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The current FIBA Oceania President is Burton Shipley from New Zealand.

FIBA Intercontinental Cup

The FIBA Intercontinental Cup, also commonly referred to as the FIBA World Cup for Champion Clubs, or the FIBA Club World Cup, is a professional basketball clubs competition that is endorsed by FIBA World and the NBA. Historically, its purpose has been to gather the premier basketball clubs from each of the world's geographical zones, and to officially decide the best basketball club of the world, which is officially crowned as the world club champion. The World Cup for Clubs has been contended mainly by the champions of the continents and/or world geographical regions that are of the highest basketball levels.

2009 FIBA Asia Championship

The 2009 FIBA Asia Championship for Men was the biennial Asian continental championship and also served as the FIBA Asia qualifying tournament for the 2010 FIBA World Championship. The tournament was held from August 6 to 16, 2009 in Tianjin, China.

The 2009 FIBA Asia Championship qualification was held in early 2009 with the Gulf region, West Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia and Middle Asia each conducting tournaments.

2011 FIBA Asia Champions Cup

The FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2011 was the 22nd staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament was held in Pasig, Philippines from May 28 to June 5, 2011. The event is co-organized by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas and FIBA Asia.

The Basketball World Cup was an international basketball tournament held in Turkey. Established in 2002, it was sponsored by the Turkish brewing company Efes Pilsen, which also runs a basketball club in Istanbul.

Facundo Campazzo Argentine basketball player

Facundo "Facu" Campazzo is an Argentine professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). At a height of 5 ft 10 in (1.78 m) tall, he plays at the point guard position. He is also a member of the senior Argentine national team.

The FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification is the process that a national basketball team goes through to qualify for the FIBA Basketball World Cup finals. Qualifiers are held within four FIBA continental zones Africa, Americas, Europe, and Asia-Oceania play in a combined Asia-Pacific region to qualify for the FIBA Basketball World Cup, which are organized by their respective confederations. One extra berth is allocated for the specific continental zone that hosts the event, in addition to the set berths allotted for the region.

The basketball qualification for the Summer Olympics men's basketball tournament occurred from 2014 to 2016; all five FIBA zones sent in teams.

2016 FIBA Asia Champions Cup

The 2016 FIBA Asia Champions Cup was the 25th staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the international basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament took place in Chenzhou, China from 8 October to 16 October, 2016. The venue of the tournament was Chenzhou Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium. This was the return of the tournament after a two-year hiatus since the 2013 edition.

2017 FIBA Asia Cup

The 2017 FIBA Asia Cup was the 29th continental basketball championship in Asia. The tournament was organised by FIBA Asia. It took place from 8 to 20 August 2017, a week earlier from the initial scheduled date, in Lebanon. The Nouhad Nawfal Arena with a capacity of 8,000 seats hosted the tournament's matches.

2017 FIBA Womens Asia Cup

The 2017 FIBA Women's Asia Cup was the qualifying tournament for FIBA Asia and FIBA Oceania at the 2018 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup in Spain. The tournament was held from 23 to 29 July in Bangalore, India. Before this edition, the tournament was known as the FIBA Asia Championship for Women, and only involved FIBA Asia members. FIBA Oceania teams Australia and New Zealand, as well as Fiji competed in the tournament for the first time.

The 2017 FIBA Asia Champions Cup was the 26th staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the international basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament took place in Chenzhou, China from 22 September to 30 September 2017. This was the second straight year that China hosted the tournament.

The Philippines men's national basketball team has competed in FIBA competitions for basketball clubs such as the FIBA Asia Champions Cup. In such cases the national team competed, they played under a club name, usually after a sponsor.
