The ABC Champions Cup 1998 was the 9th staging of the ABC Champions Cup, the basketball club tournament of Asian Basketball Confederation. The tournament was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, between April 25 to May 2, 1998.

The FIBA Asia Champions Cup, previously known as the Asian Basketball Confederation (ABC) Champions Cup until 2002, is the Asian club championship for professional basketball. It is organised by FIBA Asia, and takes place once a year.

Awards

Bobby Ray Parks Sr. was an American professional basketball player from Grand Junction, Tennessee. He played for Memphis State University from 1980-1984 and played internationally in the Philippines, Indonesia and France. As one of the most celebrated "import" players in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), Parks became the second American ever inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame in 2009.

Li Xin is a Chinese women's basketball coach and former international player. She won a silver medal with the Chinese women's national basketball team at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.

The Philippine Institute of Sports Multi-Purpose Arena or PhilSports Arena is an indoor sporting arena located inside the PhilSports Complex in Pasig, Philippines. Hekmeh BC

Hekmeh or Al-Hikma or Club Sagesse is a Lebanese sports club based in Beirut. The basketball team was established in 1992, as part of the historic Hekmeh club established in 1943 with mainly the football (soccer) team. The basketball team became far more popular than the initial football team thus making the basketball branch the most popular branch of the club, due to its phenomenal record breaking success since its formation in the early nineties in the newly reformed Lebanese league, the Arab and the FIBA Asia championships.

Roy Nicolas Samaha is a Lebanese professional basketball player. Samaha is a key player in the Lebanon national basketball team and participated lately in the 2006 FIBA World Championship, FIBA Asia Championship 2007 and FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament for Men 2008.

Jean Abdel-Nour is a Lebanese basketball player with Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut of the Lebanese Basketball League. He had a successful 2002-03 season with Ghazir which led him to be signed by the Bluestars for the 2003-04 season. He stayed with the Bluestars until the 2008-09 season where he was the leading Lebanese scorer on the team averaging 16 ppg and 7.4 rpg. After the season finished Bluestars dropped from the first division, and Abdelnour subsequently signed a 4-year contract with Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut. Abdel-Nour is also a member of the Lebanon national basketball team, with whom he competed with at the 2006 FIBA World Championship. Abdelnour is one of the best defensive players in the Lebanese league and considered by many as the greatest one.

Slobodan "Piksi" Subotić is a Montenegrin-born Slovenian former professional basketball player and now a basketball coach, who also holds Croatian and Greek citizenship. He is currently a free agent

The ABC Champions Cup 2003 was the 14th staging of the ABC Champions Cup, the basketball club tournament of Asian Basketball Confederation. The tournament was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia between December 21 to 27, 2003.

The ABC Champions Cup 2001 was the 12th staging of the ABC Champions Cup, the basketball club tournament of Asian Basketball Confederation. The tournament was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates between June 1 to 8, 2001.

'Champville Mariste Club or Champville Maristes Sports and Basketball Club is a Lebanese sports club most known for its basketball program. It is affiliated to Collège Maristes Champville in Deek el Mehdi, a renowned school in Lebanon, but has its own independent administration. The team is based within the sporting complex of the school. Champville SC competes in the Lebanese Basketball League, and in 2011–12 won their first-ever Lebanese title.

Al Riyadi Basketball Club is a Jordanian professional basketball club that competes in the Jordanian Premier Basketball League and are based in Amman, Jordan. In the team's inaugural season in 2001–02, they competed in the Jordanian Division II league, winning the championship and the Jordanian Cup, and earned a promotion to the Division I league for the 2002–03 season. Before 2001, Aramex sponsored Al-Jazeera Basketball Club for 13 years. Aramex spilt amiably with Al-Jazeera and established Al-Riyadi in 2001 in an effort to promote basketball as well as an array of competitive sports.

2011 FIBA Asia Champions Cup

The FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2011 was the 22nd staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament was held in Pasig, Philippines from May 28 to June 5, 2011. The event is co-organized by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas and FIBA Asia.

The Jordanian Premier Basketball League is a professional basketball league in Jordan. It is the top league in the country with the second-tier league going by the name of First Division.

2016 FIBA Asia Champions Cup

The 2016 FIBA Asia Champions Cup was the 25th staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the international basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament took place in Chenzhou, China from 8 October to 16 October, 2016. The venue of the tournament was Chenzhou Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium. This was the return of the tournament after a two-year hiatus since the 2013 edition.

The 2017 FIBA Asia Champions Cup was the 26th staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the international basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament took place in Chenzhou, China from 22 September to 30 September 2017. This was the second straight year that China hosted the tournament.

The 2018 FIBA Asia Champions Cup will be the 27th staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the international basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament, which was originally scheduled to be hosted by China, will take place in Thailand from 27 September to 2 October 2018. Games will be played at Stadium29 in Nonthaburi.

Qualification for the 2018 FIBA Asia Champions Cup started in 2017 and will end in 2018.
