The 58th Acropolis Rally is the sixth round of 2012 FIA World Rally Championship. The event took place between 24 and 27 May 2012. [1]

Acropolis Rally rallying

The Acropolis Rally of Greece is a rally competition which used to be part of the European Rally Championship (ERC) schedule, and was formerly a round of the World Rally Championship (WRC). The rally is held on very dusty, rough and rocky mountain roads around Athens during the Greek hot summer period. The rally is known for being extremely tough on the competing cars and drivers.

Sébastien Loeb French racing driver

Škoda Motorsport is the division of Czech car manufacturer Škoda Auto responsible for motorsport activities. The team had competed as a manufacturer in the World Rally Championship between 1999 and 2005 and Intercontinental Rally Challenge. Now it competes in the European Rally Championship and WRC-2. Škoda Motorsport riders have won the 2012-2014 ERC series with the Škoda Fabia S2000, Škoda Motorsport was also the most successful manufacturer in IRC 2010-2012 and in WRC-2 2015-2018 with Škoda Fabia R5.

Evgeny Maksimovich Novikov is a Russian rally driver who competed in the World Rally Championship from 2007 to 2013.

The 2011 World Rally Championship was the 39th season of the FIA World Rally Championship in automobile racing. The season consisted of 13 rallies, beginning with Rally Sweden on 10 February and ended with Wales Rally GB on 13 November.

2011 Acropolis Rally

The 2011 Acropolis Rally was the seventh round of the 2011 World Rally Championship season. The rally took place over 17–19 June, and was based in Loutraki, 85 kilometres (52.8 mi) outside the country's capital, Athens. The rally was also the fourth round of the Super 2000 World Rally Championship. The Acropolis Rally returned to the WRC calendar for the first time since 2009, after the event was not run in 2010.

The 2013 World Rally Championship was the 41st season of the World Rally Championship, an auto racing championship recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile as the highest class of international rallying. The season was run over 13 rallies, starting with the Rallye Monte Carlo on 16 January, and finishing with the Wales Rally of Great Britain on 17 November. Volkswagen entered the series as a constructor with the Polo R WRC, while Ford and Mini ended their factory support for the Fiesta RS WRC and John Cooper Works WRC respectively, though both continued to make their cars available to customer teams.

The 62nd Neste Oil Rally Finland was the eighth round of the 2012 World Rally Championship season and was held between 2 and 4 August 2012. In a similar manner to the previous year, the rally was based in Jyväskylä with a super special stage held at Jokimaa, Lahti.
