The 2014 Australian GT Championship was an Australian motor racing competition open to FIA GT3 cars and similar cars as approved for the championship. [1] It was sanctioned by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) as a National Championship with The Australian GT Sportscar Group Pty Ltd appointed by CAMS as the Category Manager. [1] The title, which was the 18th Australian GT Championship, was won by Richard Muscat, driving a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3.
The championship was contested over a six-round series. [1]

The results for each round of the Championship were determined by the number of points scored by each driver within their division at that round. [1]

Championship points were awarded to each eligible driver, based on their qualifying position at each round of the Championship relative to the other drivers within their division, and on their finishing position in each race of the Championship relative to the other drivers within their division, in accordance with the following table. The 2014 Australian Tourist Trophy was awarded by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport to the driver accumulating the highest aggregate points total from Rounds 2 and 6 of the Australian GT Championship. [1] The title, which was the 24th Australian Tourist Trophy, was won by Richard Muscat driving a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3. [9]
Porsche Carrera Cup Australia is an Australian motor racing series open to Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. First held in 2003, it is administered by Porsche Cars Australia Pty Ltd and is sanctioned by Motorsport Australia as a national championship through to 2015 and as a National Series from 2016-2021. Starting in 2022 the category returned back as a national championship. During its history, Carrera Cup has been a leading support category for the Supercars Championship. New Zealand driver Craig Baird has been the most successful driver, winning the series five times.

It was contested over a five rounds series which was managed by Trofeo Motorsport Pty Ltd and sanctioned by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) as an Authorised Series.
The 2019 Australian GT Championship is the 23rd running of the Australian GT Championship, a CAMS-sanctioned Australian motor racing championship open to FIA GT3 cars, FIA GT4 cars and similar cars as approved for the championship. The championship will commence on 14 March 2018 at the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit and conclude on 10 November at Sandown Raceway. The championship will be contested over seven rounds. Each race, with the exception of the Australian Grand Prix round, will include at least one compulsory timed pit stop.
The 2020 Australian GT Championship was scheduled to be the 24th running of the Australian GT Championship, a Motorsport Australia-sanctioned Australian motor racing championship open to FIA GT3 cars, FIA GT4 cars and similar cars as approved for the championship. The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in only the first round of the Australian Endurance Championship, and the first & second rounds of the Australian GT Trophy Series taking place before the rest of the season was abandoned.
