The 2022 Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS is an Australian motor sport competition for GT cars. The series incorporates the "Motorsport Australia GT Championship", the "Motorsport Australia Endurance Championship", the "GT3 Trophy Series" and the "GT4 Cup". The Motorsport Australia GT Championship is the 26th running of an Australian GT Championship. This is the second season of the championship being jointly managed by Australian Racing Group (ARG) and SRO Motorsports Group.

Calendar

The provisional six-race calendar was released on 1 March 2022 with all rounds taking place in Australia. [1] The season was to begin on 18 March at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit and will end on 4 December at the Adelaide Street Circuit in Adelaide. [2] In August, it was announced that Adelaide would join the calendar as final round, replacing the cancelled May round at Sydney Motorsport Park. [3]

Raffaele "Lello" Marciello is a Swiss-born Italian professional racing driver. The 2022 Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS is the fourth season of SRO Motorsports Group and Team Asia One GT Management's GT World Challenge Asia, an auto racing series for grand tourer cars in Asia. The races are contested with GT3-spec and GT4-spec cars. The season was begun on 20 May at Sepang in Malaysia and was scheduled to end on 23 October at the new Mandalika Circuit in Indonesia, however the round was cancelled due to homologation issues, therefore the championship finished at the Okayama International Circuit in Japan. The 2021 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup was the ninth season of the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup following on from the demise of the SRO Motorsports Group's FIA GT1 World Championship and the second season after title sponsor Blancpain withdrew sponsorship. The season began on 7 May at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours in France and ended on 26 September at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.

Normally a five round season, the races in the Pacific Rim were eliminated because of pandemic-related restrictions, reducing the season to three rounds, one in Europe, one in North America, and one in Africa. It was the opening round of the 2022 Intercontinental GT Challenge. The race was originally planned to be held on 27 February 2022, but was postponed to May due to concerns with the COVID-19 quarantine regulations of Australia.

The 2023 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS was the tenth season of GT World Challenge Europe. The season began at Monza on 23 April and ended at Zandvoort on 15 October. The season consisted of 10 events: 5 Sprint Cup events, and 5 Endurance Cup events.
