The 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS will be the eighteenth season of the United States Auto Club's GT World Challenge America, and the seventh under ownership of SRO Motorsports Group.

The season will begin at Sonoma on April 5, and end at Indianapolis on October 6.

Calendar

The preliminary calendar released on July 1, 2023, at the SRO's annual 24 Hours of Spa press conference, featuring 14 races across seven rounds. [1] In September, an updated schedule was released, the SRO announced that Barber Motorsports Park would fill the vacancy in the schedule, and Sebring International Raceway would replace NOLA Motorsports Park. [2]

Championship standings

Scoring system

Championship points are awarded for the first ten positions in each race. Entries are required to complete 75% of the winning car's race distance in order to be classified and earn points. Individual drivers are required to participate for a minimum of 40 minutes in order to earn championship points in any race. Race-by-race entries which only participated in either of the final two races of the season are not eligible for points.

The 2019 Blancpain GT World Challenge America was the 30th season of the United States Auto Club's Blancpain GT World Challenge America. It was the first under Blancpain sponsorship, taking over from the longtime Pirelli sponsorship, as part of the standardisation of names of Stéphane Ratel Organisation-run GT3 sprint racing series globally, following the series' acquisition by the SRO Motorsports Group. The 2022 Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS is the fourth season of SRO Motorsports Group and Team Asia One GT Management's GT World Challenge Asia, an auto racing series for grand tourer cars in Asia. The races are contested with GT3-spec and GT4-spec cars. The season was begun on 20 May at Sepang in Malaysia and was scheduled to end on 23 October at the new Mandalika Circuit in Indonesia, however the round was cancelled due to homologation issues, therefore the championship finished at the Okayama International Circuit in Japan. It is the second season of the unification of GT3 sprint series across the globe under the World Challenge name and the first since Blancpain ended its title sponsorship of the series.

The 2021 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup was the eleventh season of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. It saw the series return to a five-event schedule following a shortened 2020 programme.

The 2022 Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS was the sixteenth season of the United States Auto Club's GT World Challenge America, and the fifth under ownership of SRO Motorsports Group.The season began at Sonoma Raceway on April 15, and ended at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on October 8.

DXDT Racing is a professional sports car team based in Statesville, North Carolina, founded by competitive off-shore sailor and businessman David Askew in 2014. The 2023 Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS will be the fifth season of SRO Motorsports Group and Team Asia One GT Management's GT World Challenge Asia, an auto racing series for grand tourer cars in Asia. The races will be contested with GT3-spec and GT4-spec cars with hopes of GT2-spec entries. The season will begin on 13 May at the Chang International Circuit in Thailand and is scheduled to end on 24 September at Sepang in Malaysia.

The 2023 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup was the thirteenth season of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup since its inception in 2011 as the Blancpain Endurance Series. The season began on 22 April at Autodromo Nazionale Monza and ended on 1 October at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

The 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS is an Australian motor sport competition for GT cars. The series incorporates the "Motorsport Australia GT Championship", the "Motorsport Australia Endurance Championship" and the "GT3 Trophy Series". The Motorsport Australia GT Championship is the 28th running of an Australian GT Championship. This will be the first season of the championship being solely managed by the SRO Motorsports Group. The season will begin on 18 February at the Bathurst 12 Hour at Mount Panorama Circuit and end on 10 November, also at Mount Panorama Circuit.

The 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS is the eleventh season of GT World Challenge Europe. The season begins at Paul Ricard on 5 April, and will end at Jeddah Corniche on 23 November. The season consists of 10 events: 5 Sprint Cup events, and 5 Endurance Cup events.
