The 2024 Intercontinental GT Challenge is the ninth season of the Intercontinental GT Challenge. It comprises four rounds starting with the Bathurst 12 Hour on 18 February with the finale at Indianapolis 8 Hour on 6 October.

Championship standings

Scoring system

Championship points were awarded for the first ten positions in each race. Entries were required to complete 75% of the winning car's race distance in order to be classified and earn points. Individual drivers were required to participate for a minimum of 25 minutes in order to earn championship points in any race. A manufacturer only received points for its two highest placed cars in each round.

    The Intercontinental GT Challenge is a sports car racing series developed by the SRO Group in 2016. It consists of international endurance races for grand tourer racing cars complying with the FIA's GT3 regulations.

    Assetto Corsa Competizione is a racing simulation video game developed by Italian video game developer Kunos Simulazioni.     The 2019 Blancpain GT Series was the last season under the title of the Blancpain GT Series. The season began on 14 April at Monza and ended on 29 September in Barcelona. The season features ten rounds, five Endurance Cup rounds and five World Challenge Europe rounds. The overall championship was won by Chinese Lamborghini factory team FFF Racing and their drivers, Andrea Caldarelli and Marco Mapelli.

    The 2019 Intercontinental GT Challenge was the fourth season of the Intercontinental GT Challenge. The season featured five rounds, starting with the Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour on 3 February and concluding with the Kyalami 9 Hours on 23 November. Tristan Vautier was the defending Drivers' champion and Audi was the defending Manufacturers' champion.

    The 2020 Intercontinental GT Challenge was the fifth season of the Intercontinental GT Challenge. The season again features five rounds, starting with the Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour on 2 February and concluding with the Kyalami 9 Hours on 12 December. Dennis Olsen is the defending Drivers' champion and Porsche is the defending Manufacturers' champion.

    The 2020 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup was the tenth season of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and the first after title sponsor Blancpain withdrew support.

    The 2020 GT World Challenge America powered by AWS is the 14th season of the United States Auto Club's GT World Challenge America, the third season under ownership of the SRO Motorsports Group and the first season without Blancpain sponsorship. The season began on 7 March in Austin and will end on 4 October at Indianapolis.

    The 2021 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup was the eleventh season of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. It saw the series return to a five-event schedule following a shortened 2020 programme.

    The 2021 Intercontinental GT Challenge was the sixth season of the Intercontinental GT Challenge. Normally a five round season, the races in the Pacific Rim were eliminated because of pandemic-related restrictions, reducing the season to three rounds, one in Europe, one in North America, and one in Africa.     The 2022 Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS was the sixteenth season of the United States Auto Club's GT World Challenge America, and the fifth under ownership of SRO Motorsports Group.The season began at Sonoma Raceway on April 15, and ended at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on October 8.

    The 2022 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup was the twelfth season of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup since its inception in 2011 as the Blancpain Endurance Series.

    The 2022 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS was the ninth season of GT World Challenge Europe. The season began at Imola on 3 April and ended at Catalunya on 2 October. The season consisted of 10 events: 5 Sprint Cup events, and 5 Endurance Cup events.

    The 2022 Intercontinental GT Challenge was the seventh season of the Intercontinental GT Challenge. It comprised four rounds starting with the Bathurst 12 Hour on 15 May with the finale at Gulf 12 Hours on 11 December.

    The 2023 Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS was the seventeenth season of the United States Auto Club's GT World Challenge America, and the sixth under ownership of SRO Motorsports Group.

    The 2023 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup was the thirteenth season of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup since its inception in 2011 as the Blancpain Endurance Series. The season began on 22 April at Autodromo Nazionale Monza and ended on 1 October at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

    The 2023 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS was the tenth season of GT World Challenge Europe. The season began at Monza on 23 April and ended at Zandvoort on 15 October. The season consisted of 10 events: 5 Sprint Cup events, and 5 Endurance Cup events.
