The 2013 Avon Tyres British GT season was the 21st season of the British GT Championship. The season began on 30 March at Oulton Park and finished on 6 October at Donington Park, after ten rounds held over seven meetings. [1] Beechdean Motorsport team principal Andrew Howard won the GT3 category in an Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3, Optimum Motorsport's Ryan Ratcliffe and Rick Parfitt Jr. won the GT4 championship, driving a Ginetta G50 while Paul Bailey and Andy Schulz took the GTC title in a Ferrari 458 Challenge, driving for Horsepower Racing.
The SRO released the entry list on 7 March at the season launch, containing 27 GT3 and 6 GT4 full season entries.
The 2013 calendar was announced on 13 September 2012. [1] A revised calendar was released on 6 December 2012, with Zandvoort replacing the Nürburgring. [39] All races except Dutch round at Zandvoort, were held in the United Kingdom.

SRO Motorsports Group is an international sporting organisation best known for promoting and running a variety of racing events and series, including the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, Intercontinental GT Challenge and Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe.
The 2010 Avon Tyres British GT season was the 18th season of the British GT Championship. The season began on 5 April at Oulton Park and finished on 16 October at Donington Park after thirteen races, twelve held in the United Kingdom as well as a single overseas event at Spa-Francorchamps.
Beechdean Motorsport is a British motor racing team. The team was founded by Beechdean Farmhouse Dairy Ice Cream founder Andrew Howard, and has competed in the British GT Championship. For 2010, the team entered a partnership with Nigel Mansell that saw the team take on the name of Beechdean Mansell Motorsport. The Buckinghamshire based team ran a factory-supported Ginetta-Zytek GZ09S LMP1 in the 2010 Le Mans Series season. The drivers for the team were Nigel Mansell and his two sons Leo and Greg. The partnership ended on 18 October 2010. Howard became the 2013 British GT champion after winning the title in an Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3. For 2014 the team expanded to include a GT4 class Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4, driven by Ross Wylie and Jake Giddings who went on to claim the GT4 championship. In 2015 Beechdean completed the double by winning both the GT3 and GT4 classes in the same season. Jamie Chadwick and Ross Gunn took the GT4 championship while Howard went on to win the GT3 title for the second time. On this occasion he shared the honours with his co-driver Jonathan Adam, who finished 2013 6 points behind Howard after receiving a penalty.
The 2011 Avon Tyres British GT season was the 19th season of the British GT Championship. The season began on 25 April at Oulton Park and finished on 8 October at Silverstone, after ten races at seven meetings.
The 2012 FIA GT1 World Championship was the third and final season of the SRO Group's FIA GT1 World Championship, an auto racing series for grand tourer cars. The 2012 championship, which opened to GT3 Series Grand Touring cars, featured two titles awarded to the highest scoring competitors over the course of the season: the GT1 World Championship for Drivers and the GT1 World Championship for Teams. The series underwent regulation changes in 2012 with GT3 cars replacing the GT1 category vehicles used in the previous two seasons of the World Championship. Hexis AMR, now under the title Hexis Racing, returned as the defending Teams' World Champions, while German drivers Michael Krumm and Lucas Luhr didn't return to the series to defend their Drivers' World Championships.

The 2012 Campeonato Brasileiro de GT season was the sixth season of Campeonato Brasileiro de GT, the first with this name. The season began on April 21 at Santa Cruz do Sul and ended on December 15 at the Interlagos after eight weekends totalling sixteen races.
Jody Fannin is a British auto racing driver. He competed in the European Le Mans Series in 2017, winning the GTE Championship with Rob Smith driving for JMW Motorsport in a Ferrari 488 GTE. He was the 2012 British GT GT4-class champion, along with Warren Hughes, driving for Team WFR in a Ginetta G50.
Andrew Robert Watson is a British racing driver from Northern Ireland currently competing in the British Touring Car Championship for Toyota Gazoo Racing UK.
The Ginetta G55 is a specialist sports car, which has been built by Ginetta Cars since 2011. It is built to the FIA GT3 regulations, and the cars are raced in a one-make series; the Ginetta GT Supercup. In addition to this, they are also used in the GT3 class of competitions such as the British GT Championship. It was an evolutionary update of the Ginetta G50, which is a GT4-class car.

The season began on 19 April at Oulton Park and finished on 14 September at Donington Park, after ten rounds held over seven meetings. Ecurie Ecosse driver Marco Attard won the GT3 championship, while Ross Wylie and Jake Giddings took the GT4 championship for Beechdean Motorsport.

The season began on 6 April at Oulton Park and finished on 13 September at Donington Park, after nine rounds held over seven meetings. Beechdean Motorsport won both the GT3 and GT4 drivers championships. Team owner Andrew Howard won his second title with Jonathan Adam in GT3 while Jamie Chadwick and Ross Gunn claimed honours in GT4.
The 2015 GT Sprint Series was the third season following on from the demise of the SRO Group's FIA GT1 World Championship, the second with the designation of Blancpain Sprint Series.
The 2016 Competition102 GT4 European Series was the ninth season of the GT4 European Series, a sports car championship created and organised by the Stéphane Ratel Organisation (SRO). The season began on 23 April at Autodromo Nazionale Monza and finished on 9 October at Circuit Park Zandvoort after six race weekends.
The 2016 British GT Championship was the 24th British GT Championship. The season began on 17 April at Brands Hatch and finished on 11 September at Donington Park, after nine rounds held over seven meetings. After using Avon Tires since 2006, the championship switched to Pirelli tires this season, in order to mirror that of other GT3 and GT4 categories promoted by the Stéphane Ratel Organisation.

The 2023 British GT Championship is the 31st British GT Championship, a sports car championship promoted by the SRO Motorsports Group. The season began on 8 April at Oulton Park and will end on 22 October at Donington Park.
