The 2017–18 EuroLeague Women was the 60th edition of the European women's club basketball championship organized by FIBA, and the 22nd edition since being rebranded as the EuroLeague Women.
A total of 18 teams from 10 countries will participate in the 2017–18 EuroLeague Women. [1]

The draw was held on 4 July 2017 at the FIBA headquarters in Munich, Germany. The 16 teams were drawn into two groups of eight. For the draw, the teams were seeded into eight seeds, based on their performance in European competitions in the last three seasons. [3] [4]

The EuroLeague Women is the pre-eminent basketball league in Europe for women's basketball clubs.
Anete Jēkabsone-Žogota is a former Latvian basketball player. She ended her career in 2016. She is a daughter of former VEF Rīga star player Andris Jēkabsons.
Irina Viktorovna Osipova is a Russian basketball player. Since 2002 she was part of the Russia women's national basketball team at most major international competitions. She won Olympic bronze medals in 2004 and 2008, placing fourth in 2012, and collected three gold and five silver medals at the world and European championships. She currently plays for Dynamo Kursk from Russian Women's Basketball Premier League. She is married and has a daughter Alyona.
Jantel Lavender is an American professional basketball player who most recently played for the Seattle Storm of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She was drafted with the fifth overall pick in the 2011 WNBA draft by the Los Angeles Sparks.
George Dikeoulakos is a professional Greek basketball coach.
The Russian Women's Basketball Premier League is the premier women's basketball competition in Russia. The category consists of 11 teams playing a total of 20 rounds. At the end of the regular season the top eight teams play the play-offs throughout April, ending in a 5 matches final.
Sopron Basket is a Hungarian professional women's basketball club from Sopron. Founded in 1921 as the women's section of Soproni VSE, it has played in the Hungarian National Championship since 1986. It plays its home games in the Aréna Sopron. Sopron won its first-ever EuroLeague championship in 2022, defeating Fenerbahçe in the final.

The 2014–15 EuroLeague Women season was the 19th edition of EuroLeague Women under its current name. Including the playoffs, the season ran from 11 November 2014 until 12 April 2015. Fifteen teams across eight countries were divided into two groups, with the top four from each group advancing to the postseason. Dynamo Kursk won Group A with a 10–2 record, while Fenerbahçe won Group B with an 11–3 record.
Kayla Renae McBride is an American professional basketball player for the Minnesota Lynx of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and Fenerbahçe of the Turkish Super League (KBSL). She was drafted third overall by the San Antonio Stars in the 2014 WNBA draft. McBride played shooting guard for Notre Dame, where she led the Fighting Irish to four consecutive Final Fours and three NCAA championship appearances.
Emma Meesseman is a Belgian professional basketball player for Fenerbahçe of the EuroLeague Women. After playing basketball in Belgium, Meesseman was drafted by the Washington Mystics with the 19th overall pick in the second round of the 2013 WNBA draft. She has also played for the Belgian national team and several European professional teams. She was named the 2011 FIBA Europe Young Women's Player of the Year and the 2019 WNBA Finals MVP. Meesseman studied physical education at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Maria Alekseyevna Vadeeva is a Russian professional basketball player for the UMMC Ekaterinburg of the Russian Premier League. Vadeeva was the 11th overall pick in the 2018 WNBA draft. She is the first player who was born after the WNBA was founded.
Teja Oblak is a professional Slovenian basketball player for ZVVZ USK Praha and the Slovenian national team. She began her basketball career in her hometown Škofja Loka, playing eight years for her local team Odeja Škofja Loka. In Euroleague, she combined one season in Polkowice with three seasons for Good Angels Košice and one season in Atomerömü KSC Szekszard and in 2018, she moved to ZVVZ USK Praha.
