The 2018 Arema F.C. season is Arema's 29th competitive season. The club will compete in Indonesia League 1, Piala Indonesia and Indonesia President's Cup. Arema Football Club a professional football club based in Malang, East Java, Indonesia. The season covers the period from 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018.

Contents

On 14 May 2018, with just one wins in the first 8 league games, manager Joko Susilo was sacked. [1] His last game, one days earlier, ended in a 1–1 draw to PSM Makassar. The following day, assistant coach Milan Petrović was appointed as manager until the end of the season.

Along with the Liga 1, the club competed in the Piala Indonesia and the AFC Cup, with the latter being their first appearance since 2001. The season started on 15 May 2019 and finished on 22 December 2019. Fixtures for the 2019 season were announced on 7 May 2019.

The 2019 season is Persija's 86th competitive season. They have not been relegated since the competition started in 1933. This season is Persija's 25th consecutive seasons in top-flight since professional competition formed on 1994. Along with Liga 1, the club will compete in 2018-19 Piala Indonesia, 2019–20 Piala Indonesia and 2019 AFC Champions League since 2001–02 season. The season covers the period from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019.

The 2019 season is Persib Bandung's 86th competitive season. The club will compete in Liga 1 and had qualified for the round of 32 in 2018–19 Piala Indonesia following their wins in the first two rounds in 2018.

The 2020 Liga 1, also known as Shopee Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons, was the fourth season of Liga 1 under its current name and the 11th season of the top-flight Indonesian professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 2008. The season started on 29 February 2020 and was suspended on 16 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The season was abandoned and declared void on 20 January 2021.
