2018 East Kalimantan Governor Cup or 2018 East Borneo Governor Cup (Indonesian : Piala Gubernur Kaltim 2018) was the second edition of East Kalimantan Governor Cup football championship, which was held by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) as pre-season tournament during 2018 Liga 1 season break. [1] The tournament started on 23 February 2018 and ended on 4 March 2018. The broadcasting rights were granted solely to MNCTV. [2]

Teams

Eight clubs participated in the 2018 East Kalimantan Governor Cup. The clubs were divided into two groups, each filled with four participants. [3] Bali United withdrew from the competition due to the absence of their coach and lack of players, therefore PSIS Semarang came in as replacement. [4] [5]

The 2015 Indonesia President's Cup was the first edition of the Indonesia President's Cup. The tournament was held to restore the atmosphere of Indonesian football which had been frozen by FIFA. The tournament was held from 30 August to 18 October 2015. The tournament was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo in Gianyar, Bali.

2017 Indonesia President's Cup was the second edition of the Indonesia President's Cup football championship, which was held by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). The tournament was held from 4 February to 12 March 2017. The 2021 Menpora Cup was a pre-season tournament held by the PSSI ahead of the 2021 Liga 1. The tournament started on 21 March and finished with a two-legged final on 22 and 25 April 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all matches were played behind closed doors. The 2021 edition was the second edition of Menpora Cup, with the first edition being held in 2013 which was won by Arema who defeated Australian side Central Coast Mariners by 2–1 in the final.

The 2022 Indonesia President's Cup Finals was the two-legged final that decided the winner of the 2022 Indonesia President's Cup, the fifth season of Indonesia's pre-season premier club football tournament organised by PSSI.
