At race's end, Kyle Busch driving for his own team Kyle Busch Motorsports would dominate and win his 51st NASCAR Camping World Truck Series career win and his second of the season. Practice

First and final practice

Originally, two sessions were meant to be held during the weekend. While the first session had started, only 15 minutes were run until heavy lightning forced the cancellation of the first practice. Any drivers who set a time within the first 15 minutes would have their times transfer over to the second practice. [3]

The only practice session of the weekend would take place on Friday, July 27, at 2:00 PM EST. [4] Noah Gragson of Kyle Busch Motorsports would set the fastest time in the session, with a lap of 53.339 and an average speed of 168.732 miles per hour (271.548 km/h). [3]

Qualifying

Qualifying would take place on Saturday, July 28, at 10:00 AM EST. Since Pocono Raceway is at least a 1.5 miles (2.4 km) racetrack, the qualifying system was a single car, single lap, two round system where in the first round, everyone would set a time to determine positions 13-32. Then, the fastest 12 qualifiers would move on to the second round to determine positions 1-12. [5]

Kyle Busch of Kyle Busch Motorsports would win the pole after setting the fastest lap in both rounds, with Busch setting in the second round a time with a 52.834 and an average speed of 170.345 miles per hour (274.144 km/h). [6] No drivers would fail to qualify.

The 2017 UNOH 175 was the 17th stock car race of the 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, the first race of the 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoffs, the first race of the Round of 8, and the 20th and final iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, September 23, 2017, in Loudon, New Hampshire at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, a 1.058 miles (1.703 km) permanent oval-shaped racetrack. The race took the scheduled 175 laps to complete. At race's end, Christopher Bell, driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports, would win both stages, and lead 73 laps of the race to earn his 7th career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win, and his fifth of the season. He would also earn a spot in the next round of the playoffs. To fill out the podium, Ryan Truex of Hattori Racing Enterprises and Todd Gilliland of Kyle Busch Motorsports would finish second and third, respectively.

The 2016 Pocono Mountains 150 was the 12th stock car race of the 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and the 7th iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, July 30, 2016, in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, at Pocono Raceway, a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) permanent triangle-shaped racetrack. The race took the scheduled 60 laps to complete. William Byron, driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports, held off the field on the final restart with 4 laps to go, and earned his fifth career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win, breaking the record for the most wins in a single truck series season by a rookie. Byron also dominated the race, leading 44 of the 60 laps. To fill out the podium, Cameron Hayley, driving for ThorSport Racing, and Brett Moffitt, driving for Red Horse Racing, would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

The 2016 Pocono Green 250 was the twelfth stock car race of the 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, and the first iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, June 4, 2016, in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, at Pocono Raceway, a 2.5 miles (4.0 km) permanent triangular-shaped superspeedway. The race was decreased from 100 laps to 53 laps, due to inclement weather. Kyle Larson, driving for Chip Ganassi Racing, would take the win, after leading when the race got called due to persistent rain showers. This was Larson's 4th career NASCAR Xfinity Series win, and his first of the season. To fill out the podium, Erik Jones, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, and Ty Dillon, driving for Richard Childress Racing, would finish second and third, respectively.
