The 2019 season was Kelantan's 74th year in their history and 1st season in the Malaysia Premier League following relegation 2018 season. Along with the league, the club also participated in Malaysia FA Cup and Malaysia Challenge Cup.

Events

Pre-season

On 15 January 2019, Flávio signed a one-year contract with the club after his contract with Negeri Sembilan expired. [1]

On 23 January 2019, Mustafa Zazai signed with the club after his contract with Phrae United expired. [2]

On 27 January 2019, Marko Kraljević signed a two-year contract with the club as the new head coach. [3] [4] [5] On 27 January 2019, Raúl Tarragona signed a contract with the club. [6]

On 28 January 2019, David Rowley joined the club on one-year contract. [7]

During season

On 1 April 2019, Raúl Tarragona left the club by mutual agreement. [8] [9]

On 8 April 2019, Marko Kraljević has been sacked from the club after three months with the club. [10] Cássio, Flávio, Mustafa Zazai and Raúl Tarragona have left the club during mid season. [11]

On 24 April 2019, Mustafa Zazai decided to leave the club. [12]

On 14 May 2019, Flávio left the club to join Liga 1 club Bhayangkara. [13]

On 16 May 2019, Badhri Radzi left the club by mutual aggreement. [14]

On 18 June 2019, Kelantan Football Association President, Bibi Ramjani has resigned. [15]

The 2022 season was Selangor's 17th season in the Super League and their 37th consecutive season in the top flight of Malaysia football. The club also participates in the Malaysia Cup and will also participate in the FA Cup.

The 2023 Malaysia Super League is the 20th season of the Malaysia Super League, the top-tier professional football league in Malaysia for association football clubs since its establishment in 2004, and the 42nd season of top-flight Malaysia football overall. It is the first season after restructuring, with 18 teams. However, MFL announced there will be only 16 teams as they rejected both Sarawak United and Melaka United due to failed licensing appeal. The league shrunk to 15 teams after Petaling Jaya City officially withdrawn due to the expansion and increased foreign player quota, which are diverted from the club's main vision. On 5 January 2023, UiTM officially withdrawn due to the financial problems. The new season therefore has 14 teams, kicking-off on 24th February.

The 2023 season is Sabah's eighth competitive season in the highest tier of Malaysian football since the foundation of Malaysia Super League in 2004, and the club's fourth consecutive in the Malaysia Super League.

The 2022 season was Kuching City's seventh year in existence and their third season in the Malaysia Premier League, second tier of Malaysian football. The club also participated in the Malaysia FA Cup and Malaysia Cup.
