The 6th AEAUSA was held at New Jersey on December 20, 2020 [1] with no live audience due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The ceremony was broadcast live on AEAUSA YouTube channel. [2] Nominees [3] were revealed on October 9, 2020. The ceremony seeks to reward excellence in entrepreneurship, community leadership, and the entrainment industry in Africa and the diaspora.

Victoria Kimani is a Kenyan singer, songwriter, and entertainer previously signed to the Nigerian record label Chocolate City. Her debut album was released in 2016.

Faustina Charles Mfinanga, popularly known by her stage name Nandy is a Tanzanian singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born and raised in the town of Moshi, Tanzania in the Kilimanjaro Region. She won the All Africa Music Awards twice in the best female artist in East Africa category in 2017 and 2020.

Zuhura Othman Soud better known by her stage name Zuchu, is a Tanzanian singer and songwriter born on November 22,1993 in Zanzibar. She is currently based in Dar es Salaam and is signed to WCB Wasafi record label.

He was the winner of Big Brother Naija season 5 and is currently the youth ambassador of Ogun State, Nigeria since 6 October 2020. In October 2022, he became a member of the Grammys Recording Academy voting committee.

William Nicholaus Lyimo, popularly known by his stage name Bill Nass, is a Tanzanian rapper of Chagga heritage, he was born in Tanga, Tanga Region. MTV Base named him among the "50 Artists To Watch For In 2017". He is currently based in Dar es Salaam. Months after the release of his debut single "Raha", Lyimo was nominated on 2015's Kilimanjaro Tanzania Music Awards (KTMA) as a "New Best Artist".

Nadia Mukami is a Kenyan singer and songwriter known for her hit singles "Si Rahisi", and "Radio Love," featuring Arrow Bwoy. She released her debut EP, African Popstar, in October 2020. She is the founder of the Kenyan record label "Sevens Creative Hub".

Nkechi Blessing Sunday is an America-based Nigerian actor, film producer, film director, and screenwriter, born and raised in Surulere, Lagos State. She produced her first movie, Omoge Lekki in 2015, starring herself, alongside Yinka Quadri. In 2016, Omoge Lekki won MAYA Awards and she was nominated for Revelation of the Year at Best of Nollywood Awards.

The 7th AEAUSA to be held in New Jersey. The award show to be hosted by Nancy Isime, Idris Sultan, and Jynnyn Edwards. The nominees were announced on 1 November 2021, following the opening of the voting portal, with Wizkid leading with eight nominations. Tems, and Diamond Platnumz with six nominations. Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, and Focalistic with five nominations. Wizkid had the highest award winnings at the 7th AEAUSA Awards by securing 5 awards at the ceremony.

Eric Omondi is a Kenyan comedian and actor. He made his comedy debut in Churchill Show, a comedy show that airs on NTV in 2008. He has since won three African Entertainment Awards USA for 'Best Comedian' in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Omary Ally Mwanga, known professionally as Marioo, is a Tanzanian singer, songwriter, and music producer. He is known for his hits such as Bia Tamu, Mama Amina, Dear Ex, Raha, Mi Amor and Naogopa, songs that have made him a household name in Tanzania.
