Previous season

The Rebels finished the 2019 season 41–20 overall, and 13–10 in the SEC to finish fifth in the conference. The Rebels hosted a regional during the 2019 NCAA Division I softball tournament and later advanced to the Tucson Super Regional against Arizona. The Rebels were defeated by the Wildcats 0 games to 2 as Arizona advanced to the WCWS.

They are currently coached by Mike Bianco and play at Swayze Field. They have competed in the College World Series six times, with their first national championship coming in 2022.

The Ole Miss Rebels men's basketball team represents the University of Mississippi in the sport of basketball. The Rebels compete in the NCAA Division I and the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They started the 2015–16 season playing home games at Tad Smith Coliseum on the university's Oxford campus, but played their final game in that facility on December 22, 2015. The Rebels opened a new on-campus arena, The Pavilion at Ole Miss, on January 7, 2016. The Rebels were led by 12-year head coach Andy Kennedy until his resignation on February 18, 2018. Tony Madlock, an assistant under Kennedy, served as the interim head coach for the remainder of the 2017–18 season. On March 15, 2018, the school hired former Middle Tennessee head coach Kermit Davis as the new head coach and was formally introduced on March 19. Davis was fired in his sixth season on February 24, 2023, after posting a 2–13 conference record with two games remaining on the schedule. Assistant coach Win Case took over as interim coach for the remainder of the season.

The 2022 Ole Miss Rebels baseball team represented the University of Mississippi in the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Rebels played their home games at Swayze Field. In 2022, the Rebels went from the last team into the field of 64 NCAA tournament to the National Champions. The Rebels began their post-season with a loss in the SEC Tournament to Vanderbilt before they got hot. As the 3 seed in the Miami regional, the Rebels demolished the field, defeating Arizona, the host team Miami, and Arizona again to head to a Super Regional. In the Super Regionals, the Rebels traveled to Hattiesburg, MS where Southern Mississippi played host. In front of record crowds, Ole Miss outscored Southern Miss 15-0 in a two-game routing to head to Omaha for the first time since 2014. In Omaha, the Rebels remained hot, taking down Auburn and SEC foe Arkansas, before losing its first postseason game to Arkansas in a potential elimination game for the Razorbacks. In game three of the series against Arkansas, Rebel pitcher Dylan DeLucia threw a complete-game shutout to push the Rebels to their first College World Series championship game in program history. The Rebels ran through Oklahoma in two games to win the 2022 College World Series and complete their last-to-first run. The team was featured in the 2022 documentary, Belief: The Season Ole Miss Baseball.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2022 Southeastern Conference softball season</span> Sports season

The 2022 SEC softball season began play Thursday, February 10, and conference play began on Thursday, March 11. The 2022 Southeastern Conference softball tournament was May 10–14 at Katie Seashole Pressly Softball Stadium in Gainesville, Florida. Arkansas played Missouri in the tournament final, winning by a score of 4–0. Vanderbilt University is the only full member of the Southeastern Conference to not sponsor a softball program.
