The 2021 FC Tucson season was the eleventh season in the soccer team's history and their third in USL League One. On February 18, 2021, Phoenix Rising FC transferred ownership of FC Tucson to Benevolent Sports Tucson LLC, led by Rising co-owner Brett Johnson.

Union Omaha played the majority of their home games at Werner Park, located in Papillion, Nebraska, United States, with one game played at Creighton University's Morrison Stadium.
The 2021 Toronto FC II season was the seventh season in the club's history and sixth in play. The club returned to competition in USL League One after withdrawing from the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to COVID-19 travel restrictions in Canada, Toronto FC II would begin the season playing home matches in the United States, playing their first three home matches at Grande Sports World in Casa Grande, Arizona before relocating to Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida. They were able to return to playing home matches in Toronto on July 30.
The 2022 Tormenta FC season was the club's seventh season of existence, and their fourth season as a professional club, all of which have been spent in the third tier of American soccer in USL League One. Tormenta FC enter this season following an 11th-place finish the previous season. This will be the club's first season in their new stadium, Optim Health System Field, after spending previous seasons at Eagle Field on the campus of Georgia Southern University.
The 2022 Chattanooga Red Wolves SC season was the fourth season in the soccer team's history, all of which they've competed in USL League One, a league in the third division of American soccer. They will play their home games at CHI Memorial Stadium in East Ridge, Tennessee. This will be their third season playing for manager Jimmy Obleda. Chattanooga Red Wolves are coming off of a 3rd-place finish from last season, the most successful season in the club's history at the time.
