This is a list of the squads of the six franchise teams which competed in 2021 Pakistan Super League, a T20 cricket league of Pakistan. The PCB announced the retention players list, on 9 January 2021. [1] The draft took place on 10 January and over 400 players from 20 different countries were registered. [2] Due to the suspension of the tournament because of COVID-19, a replacement draft was held. [3] The full squads was finalised after the players draft, which took place on 10 January 2021. [4] [5]

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league contested during February and March of every year by six teams representing six cities of Pakistan. The league was founded on 9 September 2015 with five teams by the Pakistan Cricket Board. Instead of operating as an association of independently-owned teams, the league is a single entity in which each franchise is owned and controlled by investors.
The Player Draft for the 2nd season of the Pakistan Super League was held at Dubai on 19 October 2016. A total of 414 players, including Pakistani and foreign cricketers, were divided into five different categories: Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver and Emerging. The salary-spending cap for a franchise was US$1.2 million, including the signing of players, coaches and support staff. Each team was allowed to pick eight foreign and 12 domestic players in a squad of up to 20.
The 2018 Pakistan Super League player draft was the player draft for third season of the Pakistan Super League, held on 12 November 2017 in Lahore. Each franchise was allowed to pick 16 players from total 501 players; including Pakistani and foreign cricketers who took part in the draft. They divided into five different categories; Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver and Emerging and Supplementary. This was Multan Sultans' inaugural season, they were allowed to pick 9 players prior to the draft.
This is a list of the squads of the six franchise teams which competed in 2018 Pakistan Super League. The five existing team franchises submitted their list of nine retained players on 5 October 2017. Since this was the inaugural season for the new team Multan Sultans, they were allowed to pick nine pre-draft selections and announced their names on 10 October. Complete squad was finalised after the 2018 Pakistan Super League players draft on 12 November 2017.
The players draft for the 2019 Pakistan Super League was held on 20 November 2018 at Islamabad. More than 630 players ware included in the draft, from which each franchise finalised a squad of 16 players along with 4 supplementary players. The tournament was the fourth season of Pakistan Super League, and took place between 14 February and 17 March 2019.
The franchises in 2019 Pakistan Super League prepared their squads during the trade and retentions between 29 September 2018 and 12 November, and finalised in the draft held at Islamabad on 20 November 2018, while made expansion in replacement draft held in Lahore on 24 January. The tournament is the fourth season of Pakistan Super League.
The players draft for the 2020 Pakistan Super League took place at National Cricket Academy, Lahore on 6 December 2019. The first round took place on 3 November 2019 to determine pick order. As this season was scheduled to be held entirely in Pakistan, only the players who were comfortable with playing in Pakistan were included in this draft.
The franchises in 2020 Pakistan Super League announced their retained players on 1 December 2019, a total of 45 players from previous year squads were retained, and full squads were finalized at the 2020 Pakistan Super League players draft, held in Lahore.
The Islamabad United is a franchise cricket team that represents Islamabad in the Pakistan Super League. They were one of the six teams that had competed in the 2020 season.
Galle Gladiators are a Sri Lankan franchise professional Twenty20 cricket team that competes in the Lanka Premier League, Sri Lanka and representing the city of Galle, Southern Province. Nadeem Omar, who owns the Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League, purchased the franchise in 2020. Pakistan's veteran cricketer, Wasim Akram is the mentor of the team while Moin Khan and Azam Khan act as team's coach and manager respectively. Pakistan's star all-rounder, Shahid Afridi signed up as the marquee foreign player.
The Lahore Qalandars cricket team is one of six teams that competed in the 2020 Pakistan Super League, representing Lahore.
The Karachi Kings is a franchise cricket team that represents Karachi in the Pakistan Super League since 2016 and is one of the expensive teams in League's history. They were one of the six teams that competed in the 2020 season. In the final, they beat Lahore Qalandars by 5 wickets, to win their maiden PSL title.
Kandy Falcons, formerly known as Kandy Tuskers and Kandy Warriors, are a Sri Lankan franchise professional Twenty20 cricket team that competes in the Lanka Premier League (LPL), representing the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka which was founded in 2020. Chris Gayle signed up as the marquee overseas player and Kusal Perera as the local icon Player. In October 2021, the team changed their name to Kandy Warriors after changing owners. They further changed their name to Kandy Falcons in 2022.
The players draft for the sixth edition of the 2021 Pakistan Super League, which is the franchise T20 cricket league of Pakistan, took place on 10 January 2021. Before the draft, the teams were allowed to retain a maximum of 8 players and make any transfers that they saw necessary. More than 400 players from over 20 different countries featured at the draft. From these players, the teams each selected 16 players along with 2 extra supplementary players to complete their 18 man squads. The draft was completed one month before the main tournament the 2021 Pakistan Super League started, in late February.
