The 2022 Australian Athletics Championships was the 99th edition of the national championship in outdoor track and field for athletes in Australia. It was held between 26 March and 3 April at the Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre in Sydney. [1] [2]

The Adelaide Invitational is an annual one-day outdoor track and field meeting held in Adelaide, Australia. It is part of the national Australian Athletics Tour alongside other competitions including the Sydney Track Classic. The Adelaide Invitational also features as part of the World Athletics Continental Tour, first featuring in the 2022 edition as a challenger level meet.

Mia Gross is an Australian track and field athlete who competes in sprint events. She was junior Australian champion in the 100m and 200m in both 2018 and 2019. As a senior, Gross was part of the Australian sprint relay team that finished third at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
