Georgia Helen Griffith (born 5 December 1996) is an Australian middle-distance runner.
Griffith in her mid-teens decided to take her athletics seriously and commenced regular training. Just days after her 17th birthday she won the 2013 Australian All Schools Championships 800m gold medal in a time of 2:09. [3]

The 800 metres, or meters, is a common track running event. It is the shortest commonly run middle-distance running event. The 800 metres is run over two laps of an outdoor (400-metre) track and has been an Olympic event since the first modern games in 1896. During the winter track season the event is usually run by completing four laps of an indoor 200-metre track.
Moses Kiptanui is a Kenyan middle and long distance athlete mostly famous for 3,000 m steeplechase in which he was the number one ranked athlete from 1991 to 1995 and three time IAAF World Champion. Kiptanui was the first man to ever run the 3000m steeplechase in under eight minutes. He is also known for his coaching role in his later years with Tarbert GAA.

Shannon Solares-Rowbury is an American middle-distance runner from San Francisco, California. After competing collegiately for Duke University, she turned professional in 2007. Rowbury has represented the United States at the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Summer Olympics. She also represented the United States at the World Championships in 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017, winning the bronze medal in the 1500 meters in 2009. In 2015, Rowbury helped set the world record with the U.S. team for the distance medley relay event, and set a then-American record for 1500 meters on July 17, 2015, breaking Mary Slaney's 32 year-old mark with a time of 3:56.29.
Julia Ratcliffe is a retired New Zealand track and field athlete who specialised in the hammer throw. She won the gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast, having won the silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Benjamín Manuel Enzema Owono is an Equatorial Guinean athlete. In the 1500 m event at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin, he set a personal best time of 4:13.17. At the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Istanbul, Enzema set a new national record time in the 800 m with a 1:58.19. Three months later at the 2012 African Championships in Porto-Novo, Benin, he shaved a further 1.9 seconds off the record, lowering it to 1:56.29.
Donna Tyberek-MacFarlane is an Australian middle distance and steeplechase runner. She set both an Australian record and her personal best time of 9:18.35, by finishing third in the women's 3000 metres steeplechase at the 2008 IAAF Golden League Meeting in Oslo, Norway.
Athletics New Brunswick is the provincial organizing body for track and field, cross country running, race walking, and road racing in New Brunswick.
