The 2022 ASUN Conference Baseball Tournament will be held at Swanson Stadium, home field of the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles baseball team in Fort Myers, Florida from May 24 through 28. The winner of the tournament will claim the ASUN Conference's automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. [2]

Format and seeding

The two division winners plus the next two top teams by the RPI will be placed in Pool A, while the next four teams by RPI will be placed in Pool B. Each pool will play a round-robin schedule, with the top three teams from Pool A and the Pool B winner advancing to the single-elimination semifinals, with the semifinal winners meeting for the championship. The Pool A winner will play the Pool B winner in one semifinal and the Pool A runner-up will play the Pool A third place in the other semifinal. [3]

The ASUN Women's Basketball Tournament is a postseason tournament that determines which team receives the ASUN Conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament.

The ASUN Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year is an annual basketball award given to the ASUN Conference's most outstanding player. The award was first given following the 1978–79 season, the first year of the ASUN's existence, when it was known as the Trans America Athletic Conference (TAAC). The 2017–18 Florida Gulf Coast Eagles men's basketball team represented Florida Gulf Coast University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Eagles were led by fifth-year head coach Joe Dooley and played their home games at Alico Arena in Fort Myers, Florida as members of the Atlantic Sun Conference. They finished the season 23–12, 12–2 in ASUN play to win the ASUN regular season championship. In the ASUN Tournament, they defeated USC Upstate and North Florida to advance to the championship game where they lost to Lipscomb. As a regular season conference champion who failed to win their conference tournament, they received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the First Round to Oklahoma State.

The 2017–18 North Florida Ospreys men's basketball team represented the University of North Florida during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by ninth–year head coach Matthew Driscoll and played their home games at UNF Arena on the university's campus in Jacksonville, Florida as members of the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN). The Ospreys finished the season 14–19, 7–7 in ASUN play to finish in a tie for fourth place. In the ASUN Tournament, they defeated NJIT before losing in the semifinals to Florida Gulf Coast.

The 2017 ASUN Women's Soccer Tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the ASUN Conference held from October 28 through November 5, 2017. The first round of the tournament was held at campus sites, with the higher seed hosting. The semifinals and final took place at Lipscomb Soccer Complex in Nashville, Tennessee, home of the Lipscomb Bisons, the regular season co-champions and tournament #1 seed. The 2021 Spring ASUN Men's Soccer Tournament was the 42nd edition of the ASUN Men's Soccer Tournament. It determined the ASUN Conference's automatic berth for the 2020 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament. The tournament began on April 10, 2021, and concluded on April 18. The final had originally been scheduled for April 17, but the intended final site of Southern Oak Stadium on the Jacksonville University campus in Jacksonville, Florida was rendered unplayable due to severe weather. The match was delayed by a day and moved to the Stetson University campus in DeLand, Florida.

The 2021–22 Bellarmine Knights men's basketball team represented Bellarmine University in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Knights, led by 17th-year head coach Scott Davenport, played their home games at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky as members West division of the ASUN Conference. They finished the season 20–13, 11–5 in ASUN play to finish in second place in the West division. They defeated Florida Gulf Coast, Liberty, and Jacksonville to win the ASUN Tournament championship. Because the Knights were in the second year of a four-year transition period from Division II to Division I, they were not eligible for NCAA postseason play. As a result, the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament went to regular season champion Jacksonville State.

The 2021 ASUN Women's Soccer Tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the ASUN Conference held from October 29 through November 6, 2021. All rounds of the of the tournament were hosted at the Western Division champions and Eastern Division champions home stadiums. The eight-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Liberty Flames were the defending tournament champions, and unable to defend their title, losing to Eastern Kentucky in the Quarterfinals. The Lipscomb Bisons won the tournament after defeating Kennesaw State 1–0 in the final. It was their third title in four years, and third title in program history for Lipscomb and coach Kevin O'Brien. As tournament champions, Lipscomb earned the ASUN's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.

The 2021–22 ASUN Conference men's basketball season started non-conference play on November 9, 2021, and began conference play on January 4, 2022. The regular season ended on February 26, 2022, followed by the 2022 ASUN Men's Basketball Tournament held March 1–8, 2022.
