The 2022 Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC season was the first season in the club's history. The club, which was announced on January 12, 2021, played in USL League One, a third division league in the American soccer pyramid. [1] The club played their home games at Future Legends Complex, a sports park currently under construction in Windsor, Colorado. In August 2021, the club announced that former Libya international Éamon Zayed will manage the club in its first season. [2]

The 2020 Tormenta FC season was the club's fifth season of existence, and their second season as a professional club. It was their second season playing in the third tier of American soccer and their second season playing in USL League One (USL1). This article covers the period from October 20, 2019, the day after the 2019 USL1 Playoff Final, to the conclusion of the 2020 USL1 Playoff Final, scheduled for October 22–25, 2020.
The 2020 Union Omaha season was the first season in the soccer team's history, where they competed in the third division of American soccer, USL League One, the second season of that competition. Union Omaha played their home games at Werner Park, located in Papillion, Nebraska, United States. Union Omaha finished the regular season in second place to qualify for the USL League One final to take place against Greenville Triumph, however the game was canceled due to an outbreak of COVID-19 on the Union Omaha roster. Greenville were awarded the title as a result of finishing with the highest points per game average during the regular season.
The 2021 FC Tucson season was the eleventh season in the soccer team's history and their third in USL League One. On February 18, 2021, Phoenix Rising FC transferred ownership of FC Tucson to Benevolent Sports Tucson LLC, led by Rising co-owner Brett Johnson.
The 2022 Richmond Kickers season was the club's 30th season of existence, their fourth season in USL League One, and their 18th season in the third tier of American soccer. The Kickers were led by third-year head coach, Darren Sawatzky. The USL League One season started on April 2 and concluded on October 15, 2022.

This will be the club's first season in their new stadium, Optim Health System Field, after spending previous seasons at Eagle Field on the campus of Georgia Southern University.
The 2022 Chattanooga Red Wolves SC season was the fourth season in the soccer team's history, all of which they've competed in USL League One, a league in the third division of American soccer. They played their home games at CHI Memorial Stadium in East Ridge, Tennessee. This was their third season playing for manager Jimmy Obleda. Chattanooga Red Wolves were coming off of a 3rd-place finish from last season, the most successful season in the club's history at the time.
The 2022 Greenville Triumph SC season was the fourth season in the soccer team's history, all of which they've competed in USL League One, a league in the third division of American soccer. They played their home games at Legacy Early College Field. John Harkes will be managing the club for his fourth season. Greenville finished in 2nd-place the previous season, losing the 2021 final to Union Omaha.

North Carolina was coached by John Bradford, his second season with the club, and played their home games at Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park. The club had finished at the bottom of the table in their first season in USL League One.

This will be the club's first season in USL League One, a move the club announced in December 2021 after playing in USL Championship since 2019. It marked the return of professional soccer to Fresno since USL Championship club Fresno FC dissolved in October 2019. The club played its first season in USL League One in the third division of the American soccer pyramid. They played their home games at Fresno State Soccer Stadium on the campus of Fresno State University.

The 2024 Lexington SC season is the club's second season since their establishment on October 5, 2021. The club will be competing in their second season in USL League One and will be part of the inaugural USL1 in-season tournament. They made their 2nd ever appearance in the U.S. Open Cup on March 19, falling 3–4 to amateur USL League Two side Vermont Green FC in what was the first-ever cup match played in the state, and LSC became the first professional club to play a competitive match in Vermont.
The 2024 Richmond Kickers season is the club's 32nd season in existence, their sixth season in USL League One, and their 20th season in the third tier of American soccer. The Kickers are led by fifth-year head coach, Darren Sawatzky.
The 2023 North Carolina FC season was the 17th season of the club's existence, and their third season in USL League One, the third division of the American soccer pyramid. North Carolina was coached by John Bradford, his third season with the club, and played their home games at Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park. The club had finished at the bottom of the table in their second season in USL League One. North Carolina finished the season in 2nd place in the league table, earning a spot in the playoffs. After defeating Hailstorm FC 3–1 in the semi-finals, they defeated rival Charlotte Independence 5–4 in penalties to win the 2023 USL League One Final.
It was announced on August 7, 2023, that North Carolina will return to the USL Championship for the 2024 season.
