The 2022 Greenville Triumph SC season was the fourth season in the soccer team's history, all of which they've competed in USL League One, a league in the third division of American soccer. They will play their home games at Legacy Early College Field. John Harkes will be managing the club for his fourth season. Greenville finished in 2nd-place the previous season, losing the 2021 final to Union Omaha. [1]

The 2021 Union Omaha season was the second season in the soccer team's history, and their second season in the third division of American soccer, USL League One. Union Omaha played the majority of their home games at Werner Park, located in Papillion, Nebraska, United States, with one game played at Creighton University's Morrison Stadium.

Tormenta FC enter this season following an 11th-place finish the previous season. This will be the club's first season in their new stadium, Optim Health System Field, after spending previous seasons at Eagle Field on the campus of Georgia Southern University.

The 2022 Chattanooga Red Wolves SC season was the fourth season in the soccer team's history, all of which they've competed in USL League One, a league in the third division of American soccer. They will play their home games at CHI Memorial Stadium in East Ridge, Tennessee. This will be their third season playing for manager Jimmy Obleda. Chattanooga Red Wolves are coming off of a 3rd-place finish from last season, the most successful season in the club's history at the time.

The 2022 North Carolina FC season was the 16th season of the club's existence, and their second season in USL League One and the third division of the American soccer pyramid. North Carolina was coached by John Bradford, his second season with the club, and played their home games at Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park. The 2024 Forward Madison FC season is the sixth season in the soccer team's history, where they compete in USL League One of the third division of American soccer.

The 2023 Lexington SC season was the club's first season since their establishment on October 5, 2021. The club made its league debut in the USL League One as well as its domestic cup debut in the U.S. Open Cup.

The 2024 Union Omaha season will be the fifth season in the soccer team's history, and their fifth season in the third division of American soccer, USL League One. Union Omaha will play their home games at Werner Park, located in Papillion, Nebraska, United States.

The 2023 North Carolina FC season was the 17th season of the club's existence, and their third season in USL League One, the third division of the American soccer pyramid. North Carolina was coached by John Bradford, his third season with the club, and played their home games at Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park. The club had finished at the bottom of the table in their second season in USL League One. North Carolina finished the season in 2nd place in the league table, earning a spot in the playoffs. After defeating Hailstorm FC 3–1 in the semi-finals, they defeated rival Charlotte Independence 5–4 in penalties to win the 2023 USL League One Final.
It was announced on August 7, 2023, that North Carolina will return to the USL Championship for the 2024 season.
