Erika Fasana is an Italian artistic gymnast. She competed for her country at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Summer Olympics. She is the first Italian gymnast to accomplish the "Chusovitina" on floor and the second to accomplish the "Silivas"

The 2017 Women's European Volleyball Championship was the 30th edition of the European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball. The tournament was co-hosted by Azerbaijan and Georgia, and was held between 22 September and 1 October 2017.

Ferhat Arıcan is a Turkish artistic gymnast. He represented Turkey at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games. At the 2020 Olympic Games he became the first Turkish gymnast to win an Olympic medal, winning bronze on the parallel bars.
İbrahim Çolak is a Turkish artistic gymnast who is primarily a rings specialist. He is the 2019 World champion on the rings and the first Turkish gymnast to medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He also became Turkey's first European champion in artistic gymnastics when he won gold on the rings at the 2020 European Championships. He is also the 2018 European silver medalist on the rings and the 2020 European silver medalist with the Turkish team. He is the 2022 Mediterranean Games champion on the rings and in the team event. He won the bronze medal at the 2015 European Games and the silver medal at the 2013 Mediterranean Games on the rings. He represented Turkey at the 2020 Summer Olympics where he finished fifth in the rings final.
Ahmet Önder is a Turkish artistic gymnast. He represented Turkey at the 2020 Olympic Games. He is the 2019 World silver medalist on the parallel bars.
Nazlı Savranbaşı is a Turkish artistic gymnast. She represented Turkey at the 2020 Summer Olympics and at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics. She is the 2019 Mersin World Challenge Cup champion on the uneven bars. She is the 2020 Turkish all-around champion and the 2018 Turkish junior all-around champion.

The 33rd European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships were held from 17 to 20 December 2020 in Mersin, Turkey. The competition was originally scheduled to be held from 30 April to 3 May 2020 in Paris, France, but it was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Baku, Azerbaijan was announced as the replacement host for 17 to 20 December, before the event was relocated to Mersin. Originally an Olympic qualifying event, the competition was undesignated as such in light of the ongoing pandemic, so as to avoid pressuring member federations to attend if they were not willing to do so.
The 34th European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships were held from 9 to 13 December 2020 at the Mersin Gymnastics Hall in Mersin, Turkey. The competition was originally scheduled to be held from 27 to 31 May 2020 in Baku, Azerbaijan, but it was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Baku event was rescheduled for 9 to 13 December, before the event was relocated to Mersin. Originally an Olympic qualifying event, the competition was undesignated as such in light of the ongoing pandemic, so as to avoid pressuring member federations to attend if they were not willing to do so.

Adem Asil is an Egyptian-born Turkish male artistic gymnast. He represented Turkey at the 2020 Olympic Games. He is the 2022 World Champion on still rings and is the 2023 European all-around champion.
Ümit Şamiloğlu is a Turkish artistic gymnast and part of the national team. He competes in the horizontal bar event and has won numerous gold medals in international competition. He is said to be the "oldest gymnast" at competitions in which he takes part. He is the creator of a special grip registered by the International Gymnastics Federation into the Code of Points as the "Şamiloğlu" grip.
The 9th European Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics Individual Championships were held from 21–25 April 2021 at St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland. The 2021 European Championships were an Olympic qualifying event, with two individual spots available for both disciplines. Russia earned a non-nominative quota spot in both disciplines, while Turkey's Adem Asil and Romania's Larisa Iordache qualified nominative berths for themselves in men's and women's artistic gymnastics, respectively.
The artistic gymnastics competitions at the 2022 Mediterranean Games in Oran took place between 26–29 June at the Miloud Hadefi Complex Omnisport Arena.
