The 2023 UniSport Nationals, was a national multi-sport event held from 23 September to 29 September 2023 on the Gold Coast, Queensland. [1] [2]
More than 6,000 student athletes from 42 Australian universities and tertiary institutions participated at the event. [3] The University of Sydney topped the pennant tally, with the University of Technology Sydney and the University of Queensland finishing second and third, respectively. [3] Bond University was awarded the Doug Ellis Per Capita Trophy, and Western Sydney University was awarded the John White Spirit Trophy. [3]

The University of Southern Queensland is a medium-sized, regional university based in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, with four university campuses at Toowoomba, Springfield, and Ipswich. It offers courses in law, health, engineering, surveying and built environment, the sciences, business, education, and the arts. It operates three research institutes and nine research centres which focus on a wide range of business, agricultural, scientific, environmental, and technological issues.
A-League Men is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. The UniSport Nationals is a multi-sport event held annually between the 43 Australian universities and tertiary institutions. Overseen by UniSport, the peak governing body of university sport in Australia, the nationals is the flagship event on the university sporting calendar and attracts over 6,000 student athletes each year. The Australian Club Championship is a rugby union challenge match between the Brisbane and Sydney club premiers.
