The 2024 FIBA U18 EuroBasket was the 39th edition of the European basketball championship for men's under-18 national teams. The tournament was played in Tampere, Finland, from 27 July to 4 August 2024. [1]
This was also the FIBA Europe's qualifying tournament for the 2025 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup in Switzerland. Top five teams joined the automatically qualified hosts Switzerland.
The draw of the first round was held on 6 February 2024 in Freising, Germany. [2] [3]
In the first round, the teams were drawn into four groups of four. All teams advance to the playoffs.

The FIBA U18 EuroBasket is the new name for the FIBA U18 European Championship, originally known as the FIBA European Championship for Juniors. It's a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1964 edition. It was held biennially through the 2002 edition. From the 2004 edition onward, it has been held every year. It serves as the qualification tournament for the FIBA Under-19 World Cup, for the FIBA Europe region. The current champions are Germany.
The Israel women's national basketball team represents Israel in international women's basketball matches and is controlled by the Israel Basketball Association. Israel have hosted the FIBA Women's EuroBasket in 1991, and hosted again in 2023 along with Slovenia.
The EuroBasket 2025 qualification is a basketball competition that is being played from November 2021 to February 2025, to determine the 20 FIBA Europe member nations who will join the automatically qualified co-hosts Cyprus, Finland, Poland and Latvia at the EuroBasket 2025 finals tournament.
The EuroBasket 2025 will be the 42nd edition of the EuroBasket championship, the quadrennial international men's basketball championship organized by FIBA Europe.
The 2022 FIBA U18 Women's European Championship was the 37th edition of the Women's European basketball championship for national under-18 teams. It was played from 6 to 14 August 2022 in Heraklion, Greece. Lithuania women's national under-18 basketball team won the tournament and became the European champions for the second time.

It was played from 29 July to 7 August 2022 in Ploiești, Blejoi and Bucov, Romania. Sweden men's national under-18 basketball team won the tournament.
