The 2024 IIHF World Championship Division II is two international ice hockey tournaments run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. [1]
The Group A tournament was held in Belgrade, Serbia, from 21 to 27 April and the Group B tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 22 to 28 April 2024. [2] [3]
Croatia won Group A and got promoted to Division I, while Iceland was relegated. [4] Group B was won by Belgium and saw Turkey getting relegated. [5]

The IIHF temporarily indicated that Israel would not participate, [6] but two days later clarified that they will consider their participation in upcoming tournaments on a case by case basis. [7] [8]

The 2016 IIHF World Championship Division II was an international ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Group A was contested in Jaca, Spain and Group B in Mexico City, Mexico on 9–15 April 2016.
The 2016 IIHF Women's World Championship Division II consisted of three international ice hockey tournaments organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Division II A, Division II B and Division II B Qualification represent the fourth, fifth and sixth tier of the IIHF Women's World Championship.
The 2017 IIHF World Championship Division II was an international ice hockey tournament run by the Zurich, Switzerland-based International Ice Hockey Federation. Group A was contested in Galati, Romania from 3 to 9 April 2017 and Group B in Auckland, New Zealand from 4 to 10 April 2017.
The 2017 IIHF World Championship Division III was an international ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. It was contested in Sofia, Bulgaria from 10 to 16 April 2017. Seven teams participated in the tournament, divided into two groups. Bosnia and Herzegovina was originally scheduled to participate, but withdrew before the tournament began; all their games were recorded as 5–0 forfeits for the opposing team. Luxembourg won the tournament, defeating Bulgaria 10–4 in the final, and played in Division IIB in 2018. Chinese Taipei debuted in Division III and, apart from defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina in a forfeit, recorded their first official win, beating the UAE 4–0 in the 5th place playoff.
