The 2024 MAMA Awards was an awards ceremony held on November 21 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California and on November 22 and 23 at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan. The event was organized by CJ ENM through Mnet. This was the first time the United States hosted the ceremony and the first time it was held outside Asia. [1]
The ceremony's theme was "Big Blur: What is Real?", reflecting the blurred lines between music, culture, and individual preferences. [2] Park Bo-gum hosted the US part of the ceremony while Kim Tae-ri hosted the second night of the ceremony in Japan. [3]
All songs and albums that are eligible to be nominated must be released from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024. [4]

The MAMA Awards is a major music awards ceremony presented annually by entertainment company CJ ENM. First held in South Korea, the majority of prizes has been won by K-pop artists, although there are other Asian artists winning in various award categories, such as for Best Asian Artist and other professional-related awards.
The Mnet 20's Choice Awards was a major music awards show that was held annually in South Korea, organized by CJ E&M through its Mnet channel.
The 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards took place on November 29, 2011, at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore.
