The 2025 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is a Formula One motor race scheduled to take place on 20 April 2025, at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It will be the fifth round of the 2025 Formula One World Championship and the fourth edition of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix as part of the championship.

Background

The Jeddah Corniche Circuit is a 5.853 km (3.636 mi) street circuit that first hosted a Formula One race in 2021. It is known for being the fastest street circuit in Formula One, with drivers reaching speeds exceeding 250 km/h (155 mph). The circuit features 27 corners, the most of any track on the current calendar, and runs along the Red Sea coastline.

The 2025 race marks the fourth time the event will be held at night, with artificial lighting illuminating the high-speed track.

Circuit Changes

Ahead of the 2025 race, minor modifications have been made to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit to improve safety and visibility, including adjustments to corner barriers and wider runoff areas in key sections. [3] The DRS (Drag Reduction System) zones remain unchanged from 2024.
