The 2025 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship Division III will be two international under-20 ice hockey tournaments organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Division III consists of two tiered groups of six teams each: the sixth-tier Division III A and the seventh-tier Division III B. For each tier's tournament, the first-placed team will be promoted to the next higher division, while the bottom-placed team from Group A will be relegated to Group B.
To be eligible as a junior player in these tournaments, a player can't be born earlier than 2005.

The 2016 Men's Ice Hockey World Championships was the 80th such event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Teams participated at several levels of competition. The competition also served as qualifications for division placements in the 2017 competition.
The 2018 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship was the 42nd edition of the Ice Hockey World Junior Championship, and was hosted by the city of Buffalo, New York at KeyBank Center and HarborCenter. The host along with the top six teams in the world ranking receive automatic berths into the Olympics, while all other teams have an opportunity to qualify for the remaining three spots. The participation of Russia is not yet confirmed and depends on if the team is allowed to return to the IIHF Championship program.
