Bear Bryant American college football coach

Paul William "Bear" Bryant was an American college football player and coach. He is considered by many to be the greatest college football coach of all time, and best known as the head coach of the University of Alabama football team. During his 25-year tenure as Alabama's head coach, he amassed six national championships and thirteen conference championships. Upon his retirement in 1982, he held the record for the most wins (323) as a head coach in collegiate football history. The Paul W. Bryant Museum, Paul W. Bryant Hall, Paul W. Bryant Drive, and Bryant–Denny Stadium are all named in his honor at the University of Alabama. He was also known for his trademark black and white houndstooth hat, deep voice, casually leaning up against the goal post during pre-game warmups, and holding his rolled-up game plan while on the sidelines. Before arriving at Alabama, Bryant was head football coach at the University of Maryland, the University of Kentucky, and Texas A&M University.

Bill Parcells American football coach

Duane Charles "Bill" Parcells is an American former football coach who served as a head coach in the National Football League (NFL) for 19 seasons. He rose to prominence as the head coach of the New York Giants from 1983 to 1990, where he won two Super Bowl titles. Parcells was later the head coach of the New England Patriots from 1993 to 1996, the New York Jets from 1997 to 1999, and the Dallas Cowboys from 2003 to 2006. Nicknamed "The Big Tuna", he is the only NFL coach to lead four different franchises to the playoffs and three to a conference championship game.

Mike Krzyzewski American basketball player and coach

Michael William Krzyzewski is an American basketball coach. He has served as the head men's basketball coach at Duke University since 1980, where he has led the Blue Devils to five NCAA Division I titles, 12 Final Fours, 15 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament championships, and 12 ACC regular season titles. Among men's college basketball coaches, only UCLA's John Wooden has won more NCAA championships with a total of 10. He is widely regarded as one of the best college basketball coaches of all time.

William Stephen Belichick is an American professional football coach who is the head coach of the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). Jon Gruden American football coach

Jon David Gruden is a former American football coach who served as a head coach in the National Football League (NFL) for 15 seasons. He held his first head coaching position with the Raiders franchise during their Oakland tenure from 1998 to 2001, where he won two division titles and made an AFC Championship Game appearance. Gruden was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002, whom he led to their first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XXXVII the same season. At age 39, he was the then-youngest head coach to win the Super Bowl. He served as Tampa Bay's head coach through 2008, setting the franchise record for wins, but made only two further playoff runs. After his firing from the Buccaneers, Gruden was featured as an analyst for ESPN's Monday Night Football broadcasts from the 2009 season to the 2017 season.

William Laird Cowher is a former American football linebacker, coach, and sports analyst who served as a head coach in the NFL for 15 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He began his coaching career as an assistant under Marty Schottenheimer for the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs, serving as the latter's defensive coordinator from 1989 to 1991. Cowher was named head coach of the Steelers in 1992, whom he led until his retirement following the 2006 season. After retiring, he joined The NFL Today as a studio analyst.

Ed Orgeron American football coach

Edward James Orgeron Jr. is an American football coach. He was most recently the head football coach at Louisiana State University (LSU), a position he held from midway through the 2016 season until the 2021 season. Orgeron previously served as the head football coach at the University of Mississippi from 2005 to 2007 and was the interim head coach at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2013. He led the 2019 LSU Tigers football team to a national championship, beating the defending champions Clemson in the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship.

Kyle Michael Shanahan is an American football coach who is the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. He previously served as the offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins and Houston Texans. With the Falcons in 2016, he coordinated an offense that led the league in points scored and helped the team reach Super Bowl LI. Shanahan was hired in 2017 as the head coach by the 49ers, whom he led to an appearance in Super Bowl LIV.

Jim Caldwell (American football) American football coach

James Caldwell is an American football coach and former player. He served as the head football coach at Wake Forest University from 1993 to 2000, and as the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts from 2009 to 2011 and Detroit Lions from 2014 to 2017. Caldwell has been a part of two Super Bowl-winning teams in his career; as the assistant head coach and quarterbacks coach of the 2006 Colts over the Chicago Bears, and as offensive coordinator of the 2012 Baltimore Ravens over the San Francisco 49ers.

John Harbaugh American football coach

John William Harbaugh is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). Previously, he coached the defensive backs for the Philadelphia Eagles and served as the Eagles special teams coach for nine years. Harbaugh and his younger brother, former San Francisco 49ers and current University of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh, are the first pair of brothers in NFL history to serve as head coaches. Jack Harbaugh, Jim and John's father, served 45 years as a college defensive coach, an assistant coach, and a running backs coach. John and the Ravens beat his brother, Jim, and the 49ers at Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans on February 3, 2013 by a score of 34–31.

Mike Tomlin American football coach

Michael Pettaway Tomlin is an American football coach who is the head coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). Since joining the Steelers in 2007, Tomlin has led the team to nine playoff runs, seven division titles, three AFC Championship Games, two Super Bowl appearances, and one title in Super Bowl XLIII. At age 36, he is the youngest head coach to win the Super Bowl. Tomlin also has never had a losing record during his 15 seasons as a head coach, which is the longest current streak in the NFL.

Victor Mick Fangio is an American football coach who most recently served as the head coach of the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). A 41-year coaching veteran with 33 seasons of NFL experience, Fangio was a defensive coordinator for 20 of the last 24 seasons at the NFL or college level before becoming the Broncos’ head coach. He served as the Chicago Bears' defensive coordinator after leading the defenses for the San Francisco 49ers, Stanford University, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers.

Richard Bisaccia is an American football coach who is the interim head coach and special teams coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as an assistant coach for the Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Chargers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Joe Judge (American football) American football coach

Joseph Francis Judge is an American football coach who most recently served as the head coach of the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL) from 2020 to 2021. Prior to joining the Giants, Judge served as an assistant coach for the New England Patriots from 2012–2019. The Patriots appeared in four Super Bowls, winning three of them during Judge's tenure. Judge led the Giants to a 6–10 finish in his first year as head coach, followed by a 4–13 season that resulted in his dismissal on January 11, 2022.
